i drew the image i wanted for a stencil, then used an exacto knife to cut a slit along the lines i drew. then later i could slid my pencil through the slit and make a drawing. but any kind of blade will do, but don't make the same mistake i did. make sure the blade isn't dull.

i think anything in the book family counts. i plan on doing an old magazine.
