I really hated seeing him so hurt like that, Tomoe too for that matter, but that arc--in my personal opinion--was the most interesting part of the ruroken series, so this was kind of my tribute to the awesomeness of the manga. The movie was pretty good... but it failed to properly express Tomoe's character.
