Oh, it's a collaboration as well? That's interesting. I don't look into the authors much. All I read is that it was made by the same author as deathnote.
I'm guessing that they took bits and pieces from their own experiences... I'm wondering as to the reaction of the editors in Jump... hahahaha...
It's actually a team of two authors, just like in the manga. Ohba and Obata made both Death Note and Bakuman. I'm suspecting there are some elements of their biography in the manga because there's a lot of realistic [as in, really happening in Jump] parts in it too.
