I apologize! This stumped me for a while because another one of our members had the same problem even though I had set them as a guest poster and such.
In the end, it turns out I forgot to subscribe to you;; sorry for the inconvenience. But it should work now :)
Sounds like a great idea mate (mates?). I think you've got something by the collective ruleing thing. Its nice to see much devotion. I hope that you guys do very well.
Nope no daily input required. People that might handle member requests or setting up/keeping track of group events, contests, meetings, updates etc. will probably have to check the account once a day for comments and PMs, but members that aren't interested in keeping track with all of those aren't required to do it.
We do plan on using the Chat feature in the future for meetings. What those meetings will consist of exactly will be determined later. This group is still not completely developed and we hope by getting more members, we would get more opinions on how the group should be set up and organized as well as making it a group effort rather than "two or three people make up all the rules and you must follow them and do what we say". The main point our rules try to convey is that we're trying to create a safe, comfortable environment for everyone. Even if you decide not to join, you can always provide suggestions on how we can improve and make this group better and more comfortable. :)
So it doesn't require a daily input? As you may be able to tell I do have thoughts about joining but I do want to know what I'm getting into before I get into it. I have other comintments that require time out of my day.
The commitment we're looking for is someone who checks in every now and then and helps keep it running, helps get it back up again if it starts to get less active - things like that.
I think Yosei had an idea of having monthly OATH meetings to talk about events such as contests for OATH, maybe topics to raise awareness of, etc. So I think it's most reasonable to have at least monthly check ins to keep up with the group. :)

But what level of comitment are you asking for? Is it a daily obligation or something that can be stretched out over weeks or months??
