I'll definitely be around all weekend so just let me know when you need me.
As for the game, from what I saw, I think it has the potential to be really fun. I realized my brother has an iPod Touch so I'll be checking it out if he lets me use it. Good luck with the launch all the same though!
Just stoppin' in to say thanks for the help. Some of us do remember those little things, and they add up to further assure us that we'll indeed be listened to. I can't ask for more in a site.
I'm surprised that Art of Otaku was a disappointment - I always assumed it sold relatively well (even if it didn't set the world on fire).
I think theO Premium could have been a better product, but there's always that trade off - how long do you spend building Premium features, after all?
As for VV...well, I think the biggest problem was the transition from myOtaku. That was a real killer. But hindsight is always 20/20.
Still, you have a sizeable network here and a still-active base of regular users. I'm sure there's plenty more you can do with theOtaku to add to its value (both for users and for yourself as well).

maybe u should advertise more.. like giving out trial premium accounts for a limited time (free or as a challenge winner prize) just to give the members how premium works and that could make some purchase subscription after the trial expires.. =P
Gosh I would love to FINALLY go to NYAF myself this time. :| Darn it if I'm in college training for a career in graphic design.
Man, what you mean all dissapointments? You mean commercially?
By the way I really do hope your game becomes huge. You know if it's succesfull enough it can go on the PSP too, because around the time the GO launches there's going to be this section called PSP Minis which are actually small games with a limit of 100 megabytes and I know that they already have a couple of iPhone/iPod touch games that are going to show up on there.

good luck with it then. Maybe this time things will work out, I just posted a story last night about a little success that may help give you hope (even if it doesn't help the pocket book ^^)
I'd like to ask you to relay a message to Kyle for me, but I know how crazy cons can get, so I won't impose ^^
Huzzah for Kyle Herbert!! He's awesome. I'm proud to say I've met him.
As for VV, I love it!! Sure, it takes a bit of getting used to, but I think it's way better than the old version! I've noticed a lot more activity and a tighter-knit community.
Good luck on your game!

Kyle was at NDK Denver and he signed by Kamina poster. It looks pretty sweet. Says "Manly sword is manly" on it.
Good luck with... yeah.
