I kinda like my storybook/library world X3 of course the real cool site designs were back on MyO {I know, I know, the html gave you too many problems with confused people who didn't know how to use it, even though you had that nice tutorial linked in the backroom--it taught me how to use html and I was able to design a number of websites after that!

I don't know about any specific WORLD designs, but I know that personalized banners make it look nice. As for the background, do something that, if it needs to be repeated, will blend nicely. Like a pattern-type thing.

I nominate Kohaku-dono's Appreciation world. It's design is really good and it's purpose to promote people on the site that the site doesn't like is also good.

I barely did anything with my world design... hahahaha... If we had customizable CSS... now... maybe we'll see designs that could blow the wolrds off proportion. XD
