I'm not really sure, actually. o3o They might... Most of their major sandwiches are meat though, so if they have anything veggie it's probably in the side menu I never look at. ^^
To what you said below adam-
I know what you're saying and i disagree with it too but what actually IS healthy now of days? You can't really find.. much because America's so used to eating bad that the healthiest thing people can think of is salad. But then the majority are going to throw some fried chicken and smother it in a high calorie dressing like ranch and add croutons and bacon bits. All of that crap is horrible for you.
Being vegetarian it's extremely difficult to eat out because besides subway and burger king, there are no other quick places that serve vegetarian food and honestly i dont think burger king's veggie burger is sanitary enough to eat so that leaves subway.
Aside from the whole advertising deal- i personally think it's fine that the 9 grain wheat bread has corn syrup in it.... i mean i would prefer it not to but you could always order another bread right? they have like 5 different kinds. For people who dont eat any sodas or have a lot of sugar like me i wouldn't think it would hurt..
You are right about the advertising deal though...but the truth is they are allowed to do that. If a client comes to you and says they want this. you have to make it whether you disagree or not. If you dont design it, they're just going to get someone else to. the only thing you could do is sue them for false advertisement which they would win because they are infact healthier than other fastfood places.
well, THAT explains why everytime I eat their food, my sugars spike. =_= Guess there was so much hidden sugar... jeezes, it's hard nowadays to find food that's good for diabetics... TT^TT
You need sugar in the bread so the yeast has something to eat. Otherwise the yeast will just sit there and not do anything (instead of puffing up the bread with all those nice little air pockets that make it all fluffy), and you might as well just be eating unleavened shortbread, which doesn't have yeast at all.
However, I am in complete agreement about false advertising.
Eat at Quizno's. Their stuff is less depressing-looking anyhow. =P

You're all missing the point:
They spend tens of millions of dollars advertising how healthy they are, saying they're NOT fast food.
Then they make a bread "9-grain" which sounds really healthy but actually is the same as white bread and is loaded with corn syrup.
Even though the corn lobby spends a fortune convincing people that corn syrup is the same as sugar, lots of reputable doctors and studies show otherwise.
I don't have a problem with fast food being unhealthy, I have a problem with fast food spending a fortune to advertise that it's healthy and then create products that "look" healthy when they're really not.
And why on earth would you put corn syrup, let alone sugar, in bread?? Ugh.

So, I assume you're ticked because you go to Subway to eat healthy? Adam, dear, just because a guy who used to be fat endorses it doesn't mean it's healthy. Besides, that stuff just tastes like any other sub from any other sub shop just with a higher price.

Personally, I'd choose Firehouse Subs over both. P:
And I don't recognize that other name, but I could do a search for it.

Yeah, false advertising sucks. But this isn't likely to stop me from getting food there.

Fast Food Nation
I'm a bit surprised that you didn't realize that all food companies falsely represent what they are selling in their advertising.
