My mouse has actually disappeared before for a while too. It will eventually turn up though unfortunately, not at any sort of convenient time.

I have a nasty habit of misplacing things regularly, I'll even lose my glasses on my face at times. Hopefully it's just misplaced and turns up for you soon.
