Thats a good tip :X i should consider quitting my projects after about an hour so it wouldnt get some tiresome and boring. Maybe I would be able to have patience with it and add more details than I do because I usually get lazy if i work hours on one picture.

This is like me when I draw before I go to bed. As soon as it is no longer fun- frustrating instead- I put it down. The next morning when I wake up, it's fun to see something already "started for me" and I'm no longer frustrated.
I agree with Des. I'd try to set a schedule so I'd have goals. You can always adjust it if it turns out that you're not able to get as much done. You might even find yourself getting done quicker than you expected and can actually do more.

I would never get anything done that way because I'd work on stuff for maybe fifteen minutes and then stop.
More important for me is tracking my progress and being able to work out at least a rough schedule for when I'd like to reach certain landmarks and eventually finish. If I've already figured out how much I want to get done that day before I sit down and actually start, it gives me a more immediate goal to work towards. Having that clearly defined finish point for the day provides motivation to keep working until I reach it, and successfully reaching that goal provides motivation to keep working the next day.
That said, it is important to not over-estimate how quickly I can work. If I don't keep the schedule realistic, it's pointless and actually works against me because I'll lose motivation either through exhausting myself or not reaching my goals.

That's a great idea; I'm going to practice that more with drawing because after working on a piece for 5 hours one starts to lose it! xD Thanks for sharing, Adam! :)

What Des said. It is good to stop and take a break but only if you're not allowing it to keep you from getting your goals done in a timely manner.

That's hard...because with my luck, I would lose my flow and forget where I was going. *laughs*
I would think that perhaps it's different for everyone. ^^
