You are more successful when you're wanting to do the work, but you also have to motivate yourself to do the work rather than be lazy and waste all of your time away.

The thing I've noticed is that more often than not, once you get started, then you feel motivated. If you wait for motivation first, you get so little done! I always go on that, I make myself start something even if I don't want to.

Those are very wise words.

Yeah, it's true you get more done by working when you feel like it, but if you plug away even when you don't feel like it, you'll have more done than if you stopped completely till you felt like picking it up again.
