BETTER for me. :D

It's kind of busy but I'm definitely liking some of the new features you added. Some tweaks here and there on the suggestions of the others who commented and I think it will be A-okay in my book. (:

Not sure what 'active' refers to, aside from perhaps being the same as 'popular', but meh. I really like the challenges, the new members, and the comments on the bottom.

But going by the fact that I was hoping for a total revamped look and a layout that sheds appropriate light on specifics (like tiny indicators for number of hugs and favs on each submission and buttons for links that take you into each category (browse/more) etc.), it didn't set any higher standards.Blunt?

I like that very much, as a main page for the "Wallpapers" Division. It's very well laid out, and I love that it shows the Challenges nearing their end...considering I've personally had them sneak up on me. The top image reminds me a lot of the features on AnimePaper. I think it's really neat ^^. However, if this were the "homepage" I do feel that the other divisions would feel left out. After all, people look forward to the Cards that theO seems to have a corner on, as well as the unique fanart. Plus, I love the news nuggets. It helps me to find things out that I don't have time to look up myself.

Gomen for the long opinion. I think you're all doing a wonderful job! Keep up the great work and I look forward to whatever decisions are made! ^.^b

I like the look of the new page, but I don't like that the News Nugget section got shunted off.

EDIT: And, actually, now that I look at it more, I don't particularly care for the fact that the new page only features wallpapers. TheO has more to offer than anime wallpapers, and I think the front page should reflect that.

I like it but where is the fanart?? Also One Piece should be one of the Top Categories!! Just sayin..

I like the way it's categorized, and I especially like that the challenges are there;

however, it took a lot longer to load up on my computer. Probably do to the animation. And to tell the truth, the feature-animation thing, while neat, was very distracting. I think I'd like it better if it was just a picture, or not even there at all.

If you want a picture though, I agree with Reirei. It should be random, or even something from a new artist, so they can get recognition.

Over all, it's quite good, and could use little improvement (only what I mentioned). A total improvement over what's there right now. ^_^

So will then just be for each separate category? What will THE main page look like? Will it still highlight all of the categories of art (walls/cards/fanart)?

I think it looks good. A bit similar to AP, actually. It's nice.

I like it, it's better, but I think if you're going to have that big feature thing, it should be something random for each category instead of whatever is the most active pic, since the most active are already being shown.

the feature thing at the top... i think i'd prefer if it's a random fandom instead of featuring the most active since it's already being featured in the main page.. and i really like the idea of having a random feature.. it gives other submissions a chance to be seen.. :> link

I dig it, sites have been going with designs similar to that and it makes navigation easier.

I definitely enjoy the layout design. Will the most active pic there be changing day to day, then? Would it be for fan art, wallpaper, or what...? OR! Is there going to be a new submission section explicitly for that area? That'd be a neat idea. XDDD It's also nice to see the top 8 active pics, instead of just the top 4... and there's a section for the newly updated as well. I approve.
