What if you added a column on the updates for worlds that showed who had posted there? I mean, I know it'd be kind of redundant for people who owned the world or worlds with no guest posters, but that way you could kill both birds with the same code, maybe?
(I wish I was more fluent in how this kind of thing worked so I could offer decent suggestions.)
Number one sounds good but it's also eventually perhaps a lot easier to subscribe to a world, otherwise you might get a lot of unwanted stuff, for example I make a world for photography, then people would like to subscribe to the world because they like photography and they wouldn't want to see my updated fanart ^__^
Is it possible to delete a world? I've accidentally created a world in stead of editing one ^^; Thanks for all the help Adam!
Oh, and for the record, #s 2 and 3 only make a small bit of sense. I mean, I understand why someone might want #2; but really, since the person would be a guest poster at that world, they'd be mostly bounded on what they could submit.
Circumstances mitigating, of course. *innocent look*
Options #1 and #4 look good to me, but with #4, would that mean members would have to subscribe to each of the worlds another member has if they wanted to get updates on all of them, or would being subscribed to the member in general still cover that?
I'm thinking #1 is the simplest way to go right now.
As in, World updates won't show up in the Subscribed Member category, but only in the Subscribed World category.
I think that the least complicated good option is #1. I like four, but my idea for how to handle the owner vs. guest poster updates might be considered "complicated", so I'll just hush on it for now.

I think I like #1 more too. But would it be possible to have the update for a guest poster to appear in a different colour? It might just be a bit easier to see...

Oh, and with #1, do you mean that no matter who makes a post in that World, anyone subscribed to me will see it? That they don't have to be subscribed to every guest poster on my list?

Option one is fine, yeah. But I can imagine a LOT of people would love to be able to subscribe to just a World on its own at some point.
I know I'd like to.

Option #1 seems best.

Hmmm I'm leanning toward #1. I think its the one that is the easiest way to keep an eye on it.

I think #1 would solve my problem. I have no problem subscribing to a single member who owns the world, as long as I see all updates to that world.
Thanks,

Thanks Bossman. So yeah, I'm more keen on #1 for the moment.

Uh... #1, and I'm leaning toward #4, but I'm a bit confused by what exactly you mean by "do we stop showing World updates for members."
