Its a shame that the areas you work so hard and are so important we didn't end up appreciating for them, maybe this happened because we unaware of them? Perhaps if you give us a hint we will noticed and tell you what we think
Like I've said so many times before, I truly, TRULY appreciate all the hard work and effort you're going through through. We cannot thank you enough. =D
For news, maybe keep the Hot Box you have now, but expand it. Get rid of the little box that currently says "Thank you for your patience." have the 2 most recent news items at top with a picture beside them (like you do now), then have 5 or 6 news items listed right below them (essentially moving the Highlights box into the Hot Box). Hope this helps, good luck!
Yes! There is now an Ergo Proxy category! You sir, have made this otaku very happy. Now I just have to finish the rest of my Ergo meditations when I have the time. And thank you for the Sakura Wars category.
Wow, you got fifty categories from all those suggestions way back when? I remember the post, I put my 1ΒΌ cents in on it. That would be cool to see something that works intuitively to keep categories up to date and all.
It would be nice to have a central place for news, simple to use and truly accessible to all in terms of contributions as well as ease of location. Tying Worlds into news, looks like a good solution, it would immediately open up access to everyone here, but in thinking long-term, probably isn't a very good idea.
I do have to say, when those guys are talking sense, they have some very smart things to say. That being one of them. We're missing that cohesive element that made the old TheO what it was. Depending on how you roll the news thing out, you might solve the "home base" problem as well.
That's a lot of stuff that still needs to be done. Good luck getting it all together.
If it's not something the end user sees, or has contact with, then they won't even notice it. Like the guys and gals in black you never see pulling curtains, or running rigging, or what-have-you on a Broadway show. The show gets the credit for their work. Even if it's not seen, if it has an affect on the site for the better, it is appreciated.
Yeah, looks like the guys who get together out there will have a lot of fun. Too bad the only one in my area isn't big enough to attract other out of state otaku members, I'd like to meet some of you guys if I could.
Like I said yesterday . . . a very, very long tunnel . . .
Sakura-Con should be good, but I fear that the site changeover's meant the news for the meet-up isn't getting out to everyone. It's something that can't be helped, but y'know. Makes ya wonder.
As for all that other stuff . . . yes, we will certainly need to implement all of that stuff - which one you wanna do first?

I see we now have a Lucky Star category. ^_~ One of my favorite shows. And yes, we certainly need more of the stuff you are suggesting.
In the name of the tune I will punish you!
