Yeah, a little dog picture is great to balance out the cat pics... ^_^

I still prefer cat pics, although I do enjoy a good doggy one every now and then.

My favorite character within any fictional series? That would have to be Shino from .hack//Roots and .hack//G.U. It's hard to explain exactly why I've grown to like her this much, but it's probably due, at least in part, to exactly what you mentioned. I really empathized with her, and then I slowly became more entrenched within the .hack fandom itself, and you know once you get that fire lit there's no stoppin' it from burnin' down half the woods.

I can imagine a couple of poodles walking by and that dog saying, "Hello, ladies..." =P

Character I like the most, well the obvious answer is the Doctor. They always say that his companions are the conduit for the audience, but I always related to the Doctor more. I'd have to also add Hawkeye Pierce from MASH, I can really relate to him because of his hatred of war and all other things that hurt people and his need to act zany to keep from going crazy.

I never much cared for main characters in the first place. No clue why though. I suppose since I'm expected to like them I instantly decide I'm not going to XD

My favorite character? I don't think I can really answer that, I have many :P I tend to gravitate towards minor characters. You don't see them as often so when you do it's sort of like a nice treat ^^

Cats do get a lot of attention online. Would be nice to see a whole host of cute animal pictures start going viral.

Empathy is an important part of characterizing someone. If the character isn't played the right way it can affect how the audience "reads" him.

I can give you this much without getting weird. Tombo from Kiki's Delivery Service, because I see a lot of myself in him.

hm, I can empathize with most characters.. I don't really know a character where their story has just made me go crazy.. =P

My most favorite character.. AH, anime of all time. Morita Shinobu from Honey and Clover. He absolutely has a great persona and is soooo hilarious, I love him. xD He loves money and yet he's so witty and adorable XDDD He's not TOO greedy but his antics make you love him and want to be him. xD

I have never heard of blueberry nights :/ I'll check it out.

Hm, I think I would want to be..Master Hiko sounds pretty cool!
