Are you serious? I sincerely hope you are not. Because if you are, then you are insinuating people are not allowed to change religions in your world. Also, do you realize how similar Christianity and Islam actually are?
If Obama truly was a terrorist, then I'm sure the Republicans would actually be able to dig up something more than "His name is similar to an enemy of the country's."
That would be like me saying I can't trust my friend Tim, because he's a bomber.

Sorry for being harsh, I'm not trying to attack you, but your views (if they are in fact, true). Adam, I apologize for being so fired up about politics on your personal blog.

I really hope you're just joking. Obama can't help having the name he was given, nobody back then could have predicted what the world would be like today. Holding that against him is silly and petty.
Don't allow yourself to be taken in by rhetoric and paranoia.
I'm not old enough. I'm 17 not 18. and i'll complain. =_=;; I know more about the election the most stupid 18 year olds still in highschool.
I voted in a mock election though.
I do hope McCain wins. I don't particuarly care for him but I really don't want Obama to win. REALLY don't. *knows he's a terrorist*

My parents were saying the same thing. Since Delaware normally votes Democratic and this time around one of our own Senators is running for VP, what's the point of voting the way you want? But I'm pretty sure they're still voting McCain.
Can you believe this time tomorrow we'll know who our next President is? I still can't totally wrap my mind around it . . .
I really get disappointed when people say "my vote doesn't matter". That's ridiculous; if only a few thousand people had that attitude, it could result in a candidate losing or having less of a majority.
All votes matter and the more votes a candidate gets, the better - even if everyone thinks they're going to win. So I totally agree there.

in short, just go out and vote. Whether you think your one vote will count or not... It still matters.

Already voted, via absentee ballot - and in a swing state! Please don't let me down, Florida.
(And as another Obama supporter, your help with the campaign makes me deliriously happy, Bossman. <3 Let's hope this thing works out!)

I've promised my friends to forcefully drive them myself to the voting booths if they back out because they think it's not necessary.
Awesome to hear you're voting. Not that you wouldn't it's just good to hear. :)

Remember: Canada's last election had a 58% voter turnout.
It makes you feel like an asshole to know that. So don't let it happen for you.

I agree with you. It's that sense of complacency that can kill our candidate's chances. I'd like my third time voting to actually count for something.
