It looks great and so far everytime I've checked it, the news has worked gread. ^_^ Hmmm I wouldn't consider that many episodes too long so long as the show didn't have filler. ._. But I know what you mean by them dragging things out instead of ending it on a strong high note. I hate when shows do that. XP
As much as I hate to be a stick in the mud, between last night and tonight, someone broke News Nuggets. Last night everything looked and acted normal in FireFox 2, tonight, there's a few problems.
1) First character in headlines incorrectly rendering (gibberish in place of actual character).
2) Headline hyperlinks do not function at all.
3) Comment graphic does not completely load (the pointy part of the cartoon dialog bubble no longer appears.

Nope, still no newsletter, Bossman.
37 episodes is still pretty good and short though, by anime standards.
But, I'm with you on the "shorter is better" deal. I usually don't like anime that go beyond 52 episodes; in fact, 26 is very much preferred.
Again, I recommend you try and watch Planetes if you haven't. It's really good and has a great ending. ^^

37 episodes is too long, yet you like Naruto? Does not compute. o_O
Though I do know what you mean about some series seeming to run on longer than they should. For me, Death Note stopped being very interesting after L died.
Most series, animated or not, suffer from Running-till-dead. Producers rather make money than stories with great endings that will sell for a longer term. Atleast that is what I have seen.
Lately my experience has been that upgrading does more damage than good, but that's beside the point since I use FireFox on theO these days anyway. I'm still up in the air with the news thing, not sure if I like it or not. My initial impression was, as I mentioned in chat, underwhelmed. It's better than nothing at this point, so I'm all for giving it a chance before I finally decide on it.
I just went through my e-mail, no newsletter.
Yeah, I've got to get caught up with Death Note too. As for endings, I know I have problems with them, that's been the major hold-up with my own major writing project, getting the ending right.

Sometimes I like long series, and others I wish were shorter.

Heh, Inuyasha can certainly fall into that category of not knowing when to end on a high note.
And thanks! We'll just have to go to that Dumpling place everyday and I'm sure to start packing my lost pounds back.
*MWAH!* bye bye!

Having the News back is very refreshing. Makes the front page look more important too.
Hopefully some time in the future I'll have stuff submitted.
