That was a sick prank... Lol But you got me! I'm glad the paper clip is gone...
When is the Sakura Festival? I sorta live near DC so maybe I could go! Gosh, I do have to look at my schedule... OH THE LIFE OF A COLLEGE STUDENT!!!
Wow! You've practiced and studied martial arts? That's soo COOL! I've always wanted to do something like that. *cries* You pose a good question. If it were possible, could you do both? If not, then maybe trying new things would be refreshing for you.
Oh man, that paperclip scared the hell out of me. "Is this the improvement?!" Mao also had a great idea called the "Great Leap Forward".
Speed Grapher did trigger some Eyes Wide Shut moments for me. It just lacked the subtle humor that EWS has.
My aim to understand language-use started with psychology, progressed to linguistics, and now it's residing in philosophy (somehow, the current model of spacetime may affect language-use, too. Strange). Horizons can be as wide and limitless as you want them to be.
I'm a couple hours and a mountain range away from DC, and right now can't afford the trip. Wish I could go see the cherry blossoms.
As long as the portfolio/yourname still gets people to the same place (I don't even know how many sites I linked to it that way on), I'm cool with it being any format at all.
MMA is pretty neat. All the guys at my kung fu watch it and talk about it a lot. As a new sport it's pretty cool and I bet it'd be fun to learn - I mean, so long that you're game for getting punched in the face now and then (you're tall and must have a good reach though, hey?).
Umm . . . yeah, it really is up to you. Like, if that kung-fu school is really run by a (former?) monk, that's pretty awesome. Kickboxing . . . actually, kickboxing would be good in terms of getting back into shape, 'cause that's very much based on training and conditioning.
How's your leg flexibility after those 6 years of kung-fu? In any case, so long that you don't have any worries of burning bridges and anything, I think kickboxing might actually be a neat choice. There's nothing wrong with wanting to learn other styles (a bunch of guys at my Northern Shaolin Kung-Fu club also learn Wing Chun from another guy, for example).
There's always introductory classes, right?
(And for the record, one day I really intend to check out this Italian fencing school downtown - they always come to the Vancouver con and they're cool, and I think so long as they're not another kung-fu teacher I wouldn't have to ask permission from my sifu first or anything.)
Every site that I'm on did a little prank, one I was not fond of. We knew what was inside the gift when we first got it in March, what a weird joke XD (thinking of another site) also, another site changed all our avis to Mudkips, I was like "WTF" XD
Wha-marital arts, we have a program like that at my school. I'm not in it though. Too late to join, I'm in junior high/high school, it's elementary and up.

I'm a DC member. What's the date? I may or may not be around. Also, Burning Demon and Snow Fox are more or less DC, but I don't know if they're around or not either.

Aha, so it was a prank. Clever, clever, clever...
Speed Grapher reminds me of the Stanley Kubrick movies Eyes Wide Shut and Clockwork Orange
A fine pedigree. I never thought of it before but I completely agree with you. How I love that series.
Bazinga!
