Anything to save the fairies. Isla makes me think more of a witch that brews things than a magical girl. It's interesting to hear how she gets along with her demon. And Wanderer creeps me out with her eyes. I am not as brave as Isla for sure! And Platnium seems to be vital if she's the reason things are changing!

Na. I'm old. Kinda outdated old. Heck, I don't even write or draw anymore. I've been sticking to composing music and playing video games lately. But never at the same time.
I still don't think I'd feel right about publishing without giving you at least some of the credit. After all, you did come up with most of the concepts for the story!

Glad to know I got Shumei right! I really enjoy writing her and I'm definitely not going to let Isla get rid of her so easily...she's just too much fun to write.
Wanderer's essence is held together by a sort of consciousness collecting fragments of matter that she needs to remain sentient. Her shape is that of an upside-down cone most of the time, wider on the bottom with her top swaying and thin, but because her corporeal form isn't too strongly defined, she can form crude, thick 'legs' out of her lower half and walk on them, and because she doesn't have that good an idea of her own physical self, she's always thought of herself as humanoid because of those legs. Few who've met her would describe her as humanoid, lol. When she's not consciously thinking about her appearance or how she moves, she kind of shifts, undulates, wobbles, or breezes around. She can re-shape and blow around like wind without even realizing she's doing it. The eyes extend on long tentacles, and she doesn't literally reach an eye-tentacle into every location she wants to see - think of the extension of her arms like tuning a radio dial, extending them to different lengths and widths in different directions allows her to pick up signals from different locations, and she has a very good sense of how to navigate herself in that way. When an eye isn't in use, it retreats back into the fog for easier mobility - it's harder for Wanderer to move and interact when she's focused on too many different locations at once, although she can do it if she tries.
She is honestly thinking of Platinum as an inconvenience at the moment because she doesn't realize that her direct influence can cause that kind of reaction in an entity - she'll come to understand that later. Right now, she does understand that directly influencing the world likely has its consequences and she's careful about doing it, but it hasn't occurred to her that that's what's happening here because she hasn't directly interacted with Platinum. However, because of her abilities as Lore Creator, her eyes can see through time as well as space, so she will eventually figure out where Platinum started picking up Defiance.
Aww, I think you're writing is really good! I'm not sure I'd call myself the better writer, and if I did make this story into a novel I'd definitely give you credit as well. Who knows, maybe it could happen. If I got the opportunity, I guess I would do it.

@Lemonydreams:
To be fair, most people do find Wanderer quite horrifying. And for a demon, Shumei is pretty laid-back and friendly. Still...she is a demon...

Mmm... yeah, threatening to destroy research is definitely upsetting. If not, at least annoying.
