It sounds like he's making a big fuss over something that doesn't need that sort of excessive behavior. You've already explained to him that you will still be attending the same school. However has he specifically said why he is upset? Meaning, has he said it's much further away from him? Maybe he's worried you wont be able to spend as much time with just him anymore, will he still be within distance of you to hang out with on the weekend?
