I kinda had the same reaction when I rediscovered the intro song from Yu Yu Hakusho. It popped up in my head randomly one day, and it took me the whole day to figure it out until I watched an episode. I can now play a part of it on my guitar :D
I'm not familiar with this song though..
That's interesting to hear how RK changed your life, like how YYH "changed" mine I guess.. it was the 1st anime I've ever seen and boy it was an interesting one.
