People and their prediction on the world will end. It first started back in Middle ages during the 999 year, then later in 1600-is, 1800-is by some scientist and priest, but most know are from 1900, 1974, 2000, 2006, this year, and the one that will apperantly happen in 2012, and then there are some calculations by some older scientist, like Newton that World will end in 2060 and so...
Only God knows when world will end, not people. It is getting ridiculous how they try to hit the right year.
Ah, never heard of this guy before, but whenever I hear "2012", two things instantly pop up in my brain: this and this. Then again, I'm pretty much used to the nutjobs in my own country, they range from an old guy inventing a machine that could predict earthquakes 30 seconds from them happening (just enough time to chuck yourself out the window, yay!) to a crazy lady wrapping 5 towels around her head and guessing the words people write down, in the dark. Oh, how I wish I were joking.
Edit: I vote 21st of May be made International World End Day. Who's with me? Also, lol @ the MNS comment. And poor Einstein must be rolling in his hypothetical grave; I know you're usually happy about being right, but being right about human stupidity being infinite is damn depressing.

Anhyhow, James Cameron plans to show us you Avatar 2 in 2013, so the world might be fine, even next year, if James Cameron doesn't seem to worry at all.

Yeah, it's been all over the place; a guy, whose name I don't really care to check, stated that today will be that day. at 6:00 PM.
The world ends.
And by the way, he's predicted this type of event before. Obviously, he miscalculated last time.
