josei is like a genre of manga. its the female equivalent of seinen. it means im getting older. XD
i like it because its a bit more mature, realistic, but equally romantic. shoujo has started getting annoying except for some very good titles like Kimi No Todoke, Godchild, etc. im tired of girls liking arrogant and somewhat abusive guys as well. DX still josei has its faults. it has its own cliches as well.
some well known josei would be nodame cantabile, paradise kiss, bride of the water god, and Nana. :D
ah. i see. i guess all that fan art really made me judge it wrong. X) but i guess i also dont like it because he is relatively young and i dont find stories about kids that interesting. :/
I actually don't mind Kuroshitsuji that much; Kuroshitsuji merely.. hints. And is actually pretty interesting to watch. There are worse. A lot worse. One anime where an 7 (or 8??) year old is trying to seduce her teacher? A 'yaoi' anime where the two 'male' leads (who totally look like females)-- look like 7 year olds and have sex scenes? ;_____; //shivers
I've had this experience, but it wasn't in anime, it was a film with 9 year-olds. IT was a Swedish film called 'Let the right one in' and there was a boy in his vest and pants and I just felt kind of uncomfy.

Oh god, that's awesome.
Actually, I watch Kuroshitsuji, but not for pretty 13 year-olds, some fans of that anime scare the s*** out of me.Knowmad

there is some weird almost pedophilia liking for young anime characters. look at shotacon and lolicon.
D: thats why im not into kuroshitsuji. D: i mean i have younger brothers, nieces, and nephews so i find this stuff a bit disturbing. DX

Ah, I've seen that film. It's wonderfully made, but it is a little strange because it had a younger cast. o.o
