day 04 - a song that makes you sad: "This Bitter Earth On The Nature of The Daylight" by Max Richter and Dinah Washington.

This is the most beautiful yet, heartbreaking song mash-up I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. I was introduced to it when I watched Shutter Island and the credits started rolling and this song came on. The ending for Shutter Island was done very well, it was bittersweet in a sense- but this song tied everything together and by the time the lyrics came on, I was sobbing.

Actually, first I was like,

but then I just gave up,

I would try to explain what made me cry in the ending, besides the song- but seriously- I can't recommend that you watch this movie enough. A lot of people who normally like spewing out spoilers held back for this movie. Damn, now I feel like seeing the movie again. //laughs//

This song is a close second in the crying department, Pietro Mascagni: Cavalleria rusticana - Intermezzo, damn song gets me every time! First time I heard it, cried like there was no tomorrow.
