Ya, so then it's double hard for your dad with more than one kid in college. I'm currently the only one in my family in college, but that'll change in a few years. But, I had to pick up a sucky second job so that I can start saving up money.
College is a hard adjustment, and it's a huge deal. I see where your dad is coming from with the money thing because you may now think that it'll be ok, I can just get loans, but down the road, it's going to get tougher. Take it from someone that knows.
I'm not trying to talk you out of anything, because you need to choose the school you want to go to, not the school you think you should go to. I was just trying to give a little advice, though I don't know if I made any sense right now DX
