Well that's the thing... we're not going to put it in the title that a post is "a must read!!!" or "contains an important part of the plotline!!!" because that's just not how we roll. :/
If they were shorter I would read them. I love reading all the posts to see everyone's story line but If they are long I don't like reading them, if it is something that is very important to the story like, like if it is a sudden plot twist that I will stick it through.
Honestly.... I can agree with you on the length issue of posts. If a post is super-long, it can be difficult to read it. Lately I've been thinking about this. If people didn't feel like they had to make a super-long post each time they posted, it would be better. Like Toyo said, 6 pages is a good length. If people post shorter story parts, maybe it would allow everyone to post MORE than like, once a month. I liked how PGR used to be, where people would go back and forth quickly, with shorter posts multiple times a week. I think it makes the story funner to read.
Not sure if I explained that well enough, but yeah! I agree with you on that.
I read your posts because they are at a good length and I don't mind reading them at all. I agree with you about the communication part for involving characters.

I chicken away from things like this, but I agree with you. Sometimes long post can drag and I kind of end up doing the same, skimming through and reading the interesting parts. I do try to read most of it. OTL
I always try to limit my post to 6 pages cause of I'm afraid of boring the reader and usually that makes me self cautious.
As for including more characters, I wish there was a little more communication between people so it could make things a lot easier cause if there is no communication then of course the same people will be together since they know each other pretty well. : / in my case I shy away from people.OTL
It's not a something that is that hard to do either. A person can take their time posting I don't mind that at all, i can wait not a problem at all, as long as the post flows well.
Essence!!!!!!!!!!! *Huggles* I missed you too ;_; Oh, and I agree with you clue...we have to do a lot of detail and have a lot of things happen within a word limit in LOLA (writing class) and it is interesting seeing how much can actually happen in a page or two, instead of having over kill. Once in a while it can be fine, if it's done right.
I have to say that I agree with you. I've read a lot of rps with that form style of rping that is just an endless wall of text. I usually end up getting bored of it, not because the possible idea/story/plot is boring but because there are so many paragraphs that could be summed up with only two or three. I think it distracts from the story. Kinda the overload of it all makes for an awkward reading experience.
I also like seeing other characters point of view if I like the character a lot....but it is usually just a repeat of the previous post. :I So pretty much of it is info I already knew. Too much repetition that doesn't help with the story that much.
I also find it annoying when people wonder WHY DIDN'T YOU CONTINUE MY POST???????? .....Well it is because writing twelve to fifteen pages takes a long time. So I feel bad for the people who write slow or take longer to get the inspiration. Cause then they either have to quit because they can not keep up or get kicked out for being 'inactive'.
I totally agree. Post that are really long bore me if my character isn't in it or doesn't ketch my attention enough to read it fully. Then I usually miss something important then fall behind in the rp because I didn't read the post fully. You don't need to put every character into your post, especially if it's a big rp and there are a lot of members.

cool cool sounds good. It's a new generation Naruto RP, so none of the original characters are really there anymore.
