Well then thats the main thing^^ cuz I'm sure many people on this site love you and your art. Ah I know how that feels, pressured art isn't good but keep at it.
Yeah I gotcha. That makes sense, seeing you've been here for so long and I've heard about all the people moving on from this site, especially when it changed from MyOtaku. I hope you can make more new friends who will love your art too, I'm sure you have been doing so! Yeah I hate that comment rule... I guess it makes sense for spammers but its not convenient at all ^^"
I do draw for fun. It doesn't really help that my step father is pressuring me to get his tattoo drawn up so that really doesn't help me with drawing for fun any. But it does happen with our artworks. I think that a good amount of the people who are subed to me don't visit the site anymore which is sad they were all really good friends. It's fine with the long comment I felt so bad I couldn't reply to Hana because of how you can only comment on one post so many times in a row.
Ah no worries, I understand. I admit sometimes I have looked at the list as competition... When I first started here, I really wanted to be up there with superstarpanou, 15385Bic, and itemilicious. But yeah, now I also don't think its fair cuz, like I said, if everyone were active and posting, it'd be different for sure.
Oooh... I didn't even think about that. I mean, how does that happen? You even have more subscribers then me... Oh don't worry, I don't take it personally at all^^" I understand, I have felt this way before. But now I just feel a tad sad that I can't really do anything about this in the way of fixing it and making you feel better too :/ I guess I can just encourage you as best I can? Yeah I definitely support you and your art, and if I can promote your work some more, I'll also do so :)
But please don't feel like that! Thats not true and if you feel like you shouldn't be on this site, that means you aren't even drawing for fun anymore. If you just focus on having fun, nothing else would matter^^ Once I was worried about the top 25 standings, but when I started drawing only for fun, I found that making others smile is even better then leading any list. Even if its only a few people who enjoyed my art. And I assure you that many people here love your work :) Keep posting and I know you'll always get new fans!
I'm sorry again for the long comment ^^"
Sometimes I feel that the top 25 can be unfair. I understand that it's how recently you post art here and everything but like you said most people just don't have the time to do so even though they want to.
I enjoy looking at your art work when you put it up. I comment when I can. Most of the time when you put something up I was getting ready to head out to work then when I get home I forget to go back and comment.
I don't look at it as a competition if that's what you were thinking. I just was saying as example wise. I don't really care where I end up on that list. No offense please don't take this personally but if I were to put up an art work then you were to right after more people would look at your art then they would mine. Don't get my wrong I know that both of us would look and fav and comment on each others art work, but more people would look at your then mine. It really makes me depressed when that happens. It kind of makes me feel like I'm not even good enough to be on this site sometimes.
I think that I've tried to bring up the submission thing to Adam before and I never got a response back about it and the unlimitied submission thing has continued. I really just feel like it's unfair to everyone that can't put up art that often and when they finally do it get's pushed aside because of someone putting up seven or eight art works one right after another.
Huh. I do understand how you feel; ever since they changed the submission cap, I've felt that it was not a good idea. People who can post lots of pieces of art a day keep overshadowing the smaller artists, and that's not good. The cap helped everyone have a more equal chance at getting in a spotlight.
I've never been personally bothered by this, mostly because it doesn't matter to me very much if I'm on the top boards. I rarely check that page, actually. But you could try writing a concerned letter/pm to Adam or any of the other site leaders and talking to them about it. I hope they respond to you and take you into consideration!

Aww don't feel down becuase of that my friend I really thing and know your art is just as awesome as everyone elses^^ Every artist has their own style which makes each one unique...
Your art has potential and its not always about being in the top 25 but what really counts is how hard you worked on it and how much effort you put into your art.....Your art is amazing my friend never forget it..I have been here for almost 7 years now and I only recently had the chance to be in the top 8 or top 25..But i don't really care if I'm not what makes me happy is to make people feel good about their work..Back in 2006 when i joined here some drawing have to get approved first and now its not like that at all...
You will reach the top 25 oneday my friend just believe in yourself^^ besides your art has it in every way
Good things comes 2 those who wait, The things you lost will always replace something better..
Ah oh no :( Don't feel bad! I find that the top 25 list is completely based on how active artists have been with posting art and talking. Believe me, I took an Otaku break once and I dropped like a stone, not only on the list but just in theOtaku society too (except for the good friends who stuck around :3). It really helps when you're active cuz then you make new friends too who will view and favourite art. I'd love to see new artists up there too cuz I know some very good friends who have art that never gets shown. Its way worse though on DA O_o
Also I didn't know submissions were unlimited! I've always thought 4 arts per 24 hour period is all you can post. But I don't know if I could be called a consistent poster, sometimes I spam theO with a few arts and then I won't post for a week >u<
For a while, I was working really hard to get up to the top of the list, but I haven't recently paid attention to it until I pulled up the link of it for Chi yesterday. But I remember ZuzuUchiha was up there when she was posting a lot, and Shimozuku is a new artist who has been posting a bunch lately too. I can name quite a few new people and friends who are taking over the list there now ;) So don't feel bad about this. I think it'd be a different story if you or others were posting super consistently. Thats what I did for a while. Sounds like theO has changed a lot since 6 years ago. but I've always thought of the top 25 list in that way.
People who get the top do tend to post lots of works every day, and not everyone has time for that, balancing life and all. If it's any consolation I've never gotten it either.

I agree, but it doesn't really bother me anymore. It just means that there are a lot of other things I have to focus on.

That explains a lot. I was wondering how people were flooding with 6+ pictures. The four limit was good.
