Szayel looked to his fracctions and motioned with his head for them to come forth. "Take the Captain to the lab." Szayel told the two that came with him. As they jerked him from the floor Szayel growled. "Gently you imbeciles! Do not damage my specimen.”
The two hollows cowered in fear nodding their heads quickly. “Yes Master.” They then took great care in lifting the Captain and taking him to the lab. Szayel walking in front of them as they held Ukitake up by his arms letting his feet and legs drag behind.
The captain of the thirteenth division didn't reply this time, but the look in his eyes took on a stern and determined edge. Rage or insanity would lead to more pain not defeat for him. It was simple as that.
"Yes. Leave some life to the trash. I want him to know the pain that Kita has felt over the time he has been interfering in our life." Ulquiorra told Szayel as he too turned to leave the room.
"I await your return, Ukitake." Was his last words then disappeared.
Szayel looked to the white haired captain with a wicked and crazy smile across his lips his eyes holding a touch of insanity as he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
"It will be a pleasure, Master. And I will try my hardest to save you some, Ulquiorra." Szayel replied to them both as he stepped quickly into the cell moving toward the captain. "I do hope you are a screamer. It make the project so much more fun."
Szayel's laughter echoed off the walls of the room as he reached out grabbing the captain from his resting place. If Ukitake was unsure of Szayel's mental stability. His laughter and the look in his eyes at that second surly set him straight.
"Trash. Do not speak of my fracction like you know her. You know nothing of her. It is because of you and that Shopkeepers meddling that she has become rebellious. Because of you she has suffered the punishments she has been dealt. Once you are removed I only have the Shopkeeper to tend to. Then Kita can return to Las Noches without repercussion."
Ulquiorra looked to Aizen as he walked over and stopped behind him. "I would rather remove him before she returns. The very thought of him being here revolts me." Ulquiorra told his master. His cold green still stare the white-haired captain down.
Aizen looked to Gin with a smirk at his statement. "It could very well be." His eyes then drifted to the fourth.
"You will have your chance, Cuatro. Right now Szayel is in need of the Captain." Aizen walked up behind Ulquiorra looking over his shoulder at Ukitake. "Maybe you would like to wait until Kita has returned to tend to him. It might set a good example for her for the next time she wants to pull a stunt like this."
Juushiro ignored Gin's taunt as he slipped back into the pain of reality, focusing more on the furious green-eyed Espada directly in front of him. This was the master Kita felt so much for, the reason she was truly trapped between the darkness of Las Noches and the light of friendship in Kisuke and others, including himself. Those emerald eyes were more like the depths of a tropical ocean, taking and hoarding the light in a dark abyss.
His own green eyes, slightly dark with his pain, but still bright, narrowed slightly. "You may have never had the need for emotions, but they are still there within you," which is perhaps why Kita was reluctant to leave you," he mused silently in his head. Juushiro leaned back against the cold wall of his cell. "Maybe one day you will understand their power better."
"So breaking him could be tatamount to becoming a God," Gin mused aloud, half to himself, as he watched Ulquiorra move nearer to the small group and address Ukitake, barely waking up from his short lapse into unconsciousness. "Look who's awake for round two." The silver-haired reaper grinned as well.
Slowly walking the trodden path to his master’s side Ulquiorra remained focused on the path before him. His mind sporadic on the occurrences that partook to lead them to this present performance in Las Noches. The loss of his fraction now hanging in the balance and hung heavy on the forefront of his mind.
He would have her back at his side at this very moment if it were not for that meddling old man, Yamamoto. Walking in the prison his eyes caught the white-haired captain against the far wall. He could feel the rage growing within him. Stopping just in front of Juushiro outside his cell his cold green eyes bore down on him.
“I have never had the need for emotions or feelings, but in the end I will be glad to see you die.”

Aizen turned to the voice of his seventh espada, Szayelaporro. "Yes. Szayel. I did." Aizen looked to Juushiro as he sat in a heap on the floor. "Take the soul reaper there to your lab." Looking back at Szayel he grinned slightly. "You know what to do with him."
Szayel walked in the prison area where he was told to take audience with his lord and master. He stepped up behind them his eyes on the bloody soul reaper within the cell as a cruel smile crossed his lips. He then lowed to one knee bowing his head.
Gin tilted his head back at the captain's cell. "The other one is brooding, which should be enough of a display to assured of cruelty from his end." His bright azure eyes turned and met those of his master. "Do you think between the two of them that you'll break him?" he inquired quietly.
Aizen smirked folding his hands within his sleeves. "I wonder which one you are referring to." He gave a sideways glance to Gin. "We will need to get the Captain to Szayel's lab. I believe that might calm one of them down."

Aizen laughed aloud removing his hand from under Juushiro's chin letting his head fall swiftly.
"Yes, so be it."
He then turned hearing Gin's voice. "Cruel? No. This is cruel."
Aizen turned and looked to one of the arrancar. "Go locate the Fourth and to make things more interesting. Find Szayel as well. Tell them both I request an audience with them. And tell Ulquiorra I have one of the men that has been brainwashing his fracction.”
The arrancar nodded and left the room. Aizen then turned looking back to Gin. "Now the fun will begin."

“Awwwww,” a singsong voice called out from behind them. Wicked grin in place, Gin Ichimaru waved from the doorway. “Don’t tell me you've been at the party too long without me, Aizen-san.” He walked into the dim cell, keen eyes picking up on the blood stains on the ground and the captain’s battered form. He folded his arms, grin turning slightly sinister. “That would be most cruel of you.”
Aizen let them continue their beating frenzy on Juushiro for a few more minutes. Shocked that Juushiro was still standing with the intense beating that was being delivered to his already battle beaten and sickened body. Aizen then raised a hand as he lifted off the bars behind him.
"Enough!" His voice rang out in the cell. "I see it will take more than a simple arrancar to break you. Maybe I should call on one of my strongest Espada -- If not two."
Aizen stepped inside the cell and lifted Juushiro's head from under his chin. His eyes were closed but that did not stop Aizen from speaking to him. He knew Juushiro was still very much alert.
"Maybe the Fourth would like to have a few hours with you. In the end, it was you that assisted his fracctions escape. I am sure he is livid with you.”
Juushiro could do nothing against the attacks on his body. He was too weak, and his condition made his situation worse. As his body suffered more and more abuse, his reiatsu tried to protect him, but he had used up the defenses there. His body was in a state of perpetual rebellion. Juushiro had stopped counting - he knew it wouldn’t matter – but he knew he was coughing up blood again. It was sheer agony. His throat and lungs were on fire.
However, there was one thing to be said for being clawed, punched, and kicked around like a piece of meat. His mind was alert again. He might have smiled. If he had Sogyo no Kotowari and the air around him were hotter, he might have believed himself back in an endurance session with Yama-jii and Shunsui.
Aizen’s taunt rang louder in his head. “Let's see what it takes to break one of the old man’s prize students."
An older memory surfaced...
“What are you doing falling to the ground that easily?” a gruff voice growled.
Shunsui whined at his side. “But Yama-jii, you hit like a mountain. Especially right now, you can’t expect Juu-chan to endure it as easily as-“
“FOOL! Because of his condition, he must take more of it.”
Those grey, wise eyes found his. “Stand. I know you are not this weak and I will prove it to the both of you.”
....
I still have people I want to support and more to protect, Juushiro stated firmly in his own mind. They are my strength. I did this for a friend. As a particular punch hit his sensitive shoulder, he gritted his teeth and grunted with the light of determination back in his green eyes. He closed his eyes and let the beating continue as he internalized the pain, Yama-jii’s bright old eyes staring on. He would bear this. He would not bend.

Aizen chuckled softly with a broad grin across his face. "Gin would so enjoy seeing the 'White Knight' in this state. Too bad he could not be here." Aizen's grin only continued to grow the more Juushiro moaned in agony. "This is only the beginning for you, Ukitake." He looked to the arrancar as they looked to him. With a firm nod from Aizen they both looked down at Juushiro. "Let's see what it take to break one of the old mans prize students."
Juushiro was then jerked from the floor and slammed against the cell wall. His head hung then went back, firmly hitting the wall causing his head to fall forward again. One of the arrancar drew back his fist and hit Juushiro in the stomach causing Juushiro to double over. The other brought up his knee planting it in Juushiro's face. A handful of his long hair was grabbed and he was jerked upward to stand erect as the two arrancar then went to work punching him, kicking him and clawing him in random places on his body.
Aizen made himself comfortable as he leaned against the cell bars behind him.

Juushiro couldn't help the scream wrenched from him when the arrancar roughly bound his arms behind his back, deepening the pain in his crushed shoulder. Warm blood slid down his left arm as the wound from his fight with Gin reopened, too. In fact, Juushiro couldn't even move at all. They kicked and pulled. Juushiro laid there, half blind with pain and the loss of his reiatsu.
Reaching into his reserves in this state had barely left him conscious, especially with the shackles of seihonryoku. His head spun. In spite of it all, Juushiro tried to clench his hands, find some focus, anything; he wanted to stay awake.
"I just wanted to see the rage in your eyes when you thought that Sogyo no Kotowari might be dead."
Aizen's cruel statement echoed in his mind. It was a trick.... not what he feared... "You don't know..." he whispered, further distancing himself from his initial terror. The shadows pricked at his mind. Blood trickled from his mouth. Another cough. But he was stable again.
He didn't know.

Aizen dropped the shield and walked over to the fallen Juushiro. He was on his knees as Aizen chuckled.
"It's this rather ironic."
He chuckled and pushed Juushiro over to his side as he fell hard to the stone floor. Raising his hand two arrancar walked over and picking Juushiro up and tossed him into another cell. Juushiro hit the floor hard and rolled a few feet.
"Restrain him." Aizen told them as he released Juushiro from the kido. He paused and watched as the arrancar binded him once more. "To your question. There was no real reason. I just wanted to see the rage in your eyes when you thought that Sogyo no Kotowari might be dead."
It took a full minute for Juushiro's eyes to clear as he slowly became aware of being paralyzed and his small reserves being nearly empty again. His head swam. In another moment, he recalled what question Sousuke had put to him. "Why did you ask that question?" he inquired quietly.
Aizen could not help but laugh. Not even turning around, he murmured. "Dankū." Juushiro's attack was deflected.
"It seems I hit a nerve."
The shield still stood strong as Aizen stood on the other side. "Your efforts are fruitless, Ukitake. I over power you 9 to 1 in your condition. However, if you insist to continue. I can't help but oblige and defend myself."
Absolute silence greeted him, and then the door to Ukitake's cell blasted apart. A moment later, Juushiro's rough voice hissed out the strongest Kido spell he could manage.
"Sou. katsui."
As the jagged jet of pale blue lightning shot straight for Sousuke, Juushiro's body rose from his bed. He couldn't, wouldn't let anything more happen to Sogyo no Kotowari. They had taken enough for him. He raised his hand again ... then stumbled. Blood erupted from the just closed wound in his shoulder. He kept walking without seeming to notice the pain.
"I guess not." Aizen then stopped, turned and looked to Juushiro once more. "Oh. You will have neighbors when we return. I need a few of you alive for my next plan of attack. I am sure you will enjoy the company."
He smirked then turned away again, but did not move. His hand drew slowly to his chin as a malicious grin crossed his face.
“I wonder if you might be able to help me with something, Ukitake? If ones zanpakuto is broken--does the spirit live on, or does it die like its master when they are struck down?"
At the blatant use of the word Reckoning, Juushiro felt his heart clench, and he knew he lost what little color he had as his throat seized up again. His heart pounded. Sousuke's words came as from a distance as he continued to expound on the outline of his plans, the traps on the Seraph... Juushiro forced himself to take a deep painful breath at the intention to kill the gods, and finally his world stood still again.
Sousuke started walking towards the door again, and in spite growing worry and rage in his mind due to the inevitable gruesome battle soon to come, a portion of Juushiro's mind was selfishly relieved at the extent of the traitor's knowledge. For personal reasons.
The captain closed his eyes and sent a prayer to his friends to stand strong against this evil and not give up.

Aizen did not turn to look at him as Juushiro seethed from behind his bars. “I know of the first Reckoning. If that is what your asking.” For his next comment Aizen turned and looked at him.
“Why do you think I took the Seraph?” A wicked yet sinister smile crossed his lips. “And as far as struggling with her; that was not a concern until she met all of you. If the Gotei 13 would have just kept their nose out of it the Seraph would have been happy here. Nothing to fear. She was well taken care of. After all, we could not have something befall her. Though I knew the old man could not leave well enough alone. So I created her with a few fail safes. The Gods overrode one of them, but the others are still very much in tack.” Aizen paused. “I do have to say--”
He stepped toward the cell folding his arms behind him. “If they don’t put her to death--she will still die while in the care of the Gotei 13.” Aizen shook his head. “It’s a pity to think all of that will be going to waste. She has such potential. As for your thoughts on me containing the guardian or even dictating the power of the elders--I was not looking to do any of that.” He drew closer to the bars and looked Juushiro square in the eyes. “I was brusquely going to kill them. After all, we all know--I don’t play well with most people.”
Aizen smirked with a small chuckle as Juushiro’s eyes widened to his last comment, with a quick turn Aizen enlightened him.
“If that will be all from you, I will be on my way. There is a Seraph that is in need of rescuing and her Master is most angered by her being taken from him. My first attack on the Gotei 13 in many years.” He turned his head looking over his shoulder at Juushiro once more. “I wonder how many will die this time.” He started to chuckle facing forward again and started walking toward the door once more.
Juushiro's firm voice stopped him. "I wonder how far you delved in the archives, Sousuke, if that's the goal you had in mind. There is often more than one kind of justice, and that is even truer with the gods." He unconsciously lifted a hand to his throat but let it fall again after noticing. " Seireitei is necessary to the balance; they will not destroy it completely." He paused and then continued. "Not all justice for them is de-"
Suddenly, he doubled over, hacking deeply. He clenched his hand, fighting to control it then fell over completely, as the hacking redoubled in force before finally coughing up a large pool of blood. His eyes narrowed as he lifted himself back up from the cot, limbs shaking terribly.
"You have no idea what you're messing with, Sousuke," he took a deep breath, voice ragged, and met his eyes again. "You struggle with the seraph. You couldn't contain the guadian. You won't be able to dictate the power of their elders."
He clenched his hand, fighting the trembling of his body and stated with conviction. "Seireitei will stand."
Aizen narrowed his eyes at him, turned and stepped quickly toward the door to leave. He then stopped as quickly as he stepped away as he looked back over his shoulder at Juushiro. Then turned looking forward again. He started to laugh softly. His laughter growing louder then finally settling down.
"This is rather humorous if you think about it. Not even part of my plans, but it worked out so sweetly." He turned quickly.
"I found the Seraph. Made her an arrancar. She acts out making her an enemy of the soul reapers by killing Hitsugaya." Aizen's evil smirk spread across his face.
"I was going to use her to get what I wanted and destroy the Soul Society as well." He started chuckling softly once more. "Now, even though she is not aware of it. She will be destroying all of you for me. Once Central 46 puts out the ruling to kill her and she is dead. The gods will destroy the Seireitei for their foolish act of killing a god."
Aizen started laughing once more as he turned and finished his descent from the room. "But don't worry, Ukitake. I will be sure to send you to meet your friends as soon as I am done with you. So make yourself comfortable. You won't be leaving anytime soon."
The door opened and closed behind Aizen with a sound thud.

For a moment, rage shone in Juushiro's green pupils, but after closing his eyes for a moment or two, it passed. "Unfortunately, Kita's life has had many sad things and things for her to regret, but those won't be the thoughts she holds onto before her death. She will look at the memories she was able to make in spite of all the pain and sorrow." He paused and continued clearly. "Even if she regrets leaving us, leaving Ulquiorra, she will be glad to have escaped you."
The captain smiled grimly, remembering Kaien's last words. "My heart will stay with those left behind," he echoed out loud, staring straight into Aizen's dark eyes.
"You may not have any regrets, but I don't think you could speak for Kita. The only thing on her mind when she returned to the human realm was getting everyone together to come back and get you." Aizen turned and looked at Juushiro again.
"I wonder? Since Kita now has a heart and emotions. When Central 46 puts her to death. Do you think she will be thinking of all of you, and the tears she will be shedding--" Aizen turned away. "Who do you think the most tears will be falling for?"
Last edited by Sousuke Aizen at 2:07:38 AM EDT on July 11, 2014.
"If he betrayed her or not. She is still at the Gotei 13. Do you really think Central 46 is going to let her live for killing Hitsugaya? And here you are. Her only bartering chip." Aizen shrugged, "well and the Shopkeeper, but the old man is not going to listen to a traitor.”
Aizen turned his back to Juushiro with a nasty smirk across his face. "Things don't look good for you, Ukitake."
Juushiro gave a soft smile in return to the rant. "I am sure Kita knows why I did it, and if she lives long enough, someone will tell her that I have not yet died from this illness. It won't take me now." His eyes narrowed slightly. "And I highly doubt Tsukiro betrayed her. There's always more than one side to the story, especially with those two." He closed his eyes again, taking a shallow breath. His throat had truly eased. Maybe it was a small attack despite its pain.

“So. be. it."

@Juushiro Ukitake:

@Sousuke Aizen:

@Sousuke Aizen:

Aizen lifted his hand, "Geki."

@Sousuke Aizen:
