And also, while I lawl at your incisive comments from this cozy, removed angle, you're exactly the kind of person I fear when I'm getting riled up.
From one angle I can understand that. =P
Like I said, no one likes incisive comments. No one. And it's not because they're in any way malignantly-intended, either—although it's certainly possible for them to be. It's because there's nothing else to them. To be able to speak them requires a certain unbridled conviction about the truth of them, to the point that proof of them is not needed. There is no way to dismiss them without seeming puerile, and no way to defend against or retort to them without seeming specious.
And all that lies in the difference between I think it was and It was.
Of course, the entire effect is ruined if the person making the remark is wrong. So it's also a double-edged sword. You can cut to the quick because they're true, but only because they're true; if and when they aren't, you stab yourself just as deep.
You know, I had never really paused to consider the difference between "real life" drama and internet drama, but... holycowyouareright. Nowhere else could that feasibly happen (or I guess it could feasibly happen and make all parties look absurd beyond absurd).

Obviously, you need to create some drama in Guild Wars to post about.

No matter how old people may get, it doesn't guarantee that they'll be mature. And I think this drama llama moment proves that.
