I loved 1408. Especially because of its artistic take on what his own personal hell is. I agree that it earned its genre. I've never seen Event Horizon. I feel bad that I haven't seen it because one of my friends used to talk about it, but there it is...

I don't remember having watched Event Horizon... But I have a feeling I already did. This probably calls for a re-watch/watching, whichever is the case.
