You notice so many details and yet miss out on whether or not the girl was pretty. For some reason, I find that amusing. =P And yes Tuxes are damn uncomfortable.
Ah I see. I wouldn't know of course. It figures that something that looks great would be uncomfortable and irritating. Which can be said about a lot of women's so-called-fashion. *headdesk* Though I won't wear things like high heels so... =P
It's not comfortable at all, that's for certain. Plus I hate bowties. And those shoes are loud as heck. Make all kinds of noise. Rubber-sole plzkthxbai.
I would have much preferred a simple suit-and-tie deal. I like the shoes that go with those.
That is weird. oO I've never had a dream like that. I haven't had a time where I knew what the other person was going to say either. At least it doesn't happen a lot? ^^
Maybe it's an environmental or emotional trigger, perhaps even a physical one, like a mini-anxiety attack or something (what with the vertigo and all). Who knows, maybe slight dehydration combined with sleep deprivation and latent stress could result in this neurological response in some people. *shrug* Not knowing the cause makes it all the more intriguing. =P

Reading this makes me want to start writing down my own dreams. Though sometimes they are a little too weird. o_O
Can say I've had the deal with knowing what someone is going to say and how I'm going to respond.
I've had times when I'm driving where a car will pass and I'll just know they will do something and later they always do. But I think that's more from having driven so much that I unconsciously pick up on clues based on past experience.
Less than ten. The only common thread that I remember any of them having (at least, the ones I can remember, after I started paying attention to them) is that they are all equally trivial.
"Silent migraines"... Shucks, I hoped it was rare. >.<
Nah, not really. XP Nice to know I wasn't possessed. =D
How many times total has this "dream becoming reality" thing happened? There's really nothing that the instances have in common? You has me interested. =P
Good thing none of my dreams blip into reality. They usually involve murder. >.< At least the ones that stick with me. Science fiction, murder thriller dreams. It's a wonder why I'm never fully rested. XP
Miss Anonymous: ARE YOU CALLING THE PLIGHT OF PIZZA EVERYWHERE STUPID?!?!? >:O
Streams of thought like "itwon'tstopmakeitstopwhywon'titjustgoaway" would just pour through my mind.
Oh, THAT. No, I'm pretty sure that's different. I had bouts of that when I was a kid, except it wasn't me that was affected so much as my perceptions. When that happened, everything was either too big or too small or too loud or too soft or too fast or too slow or SOMETHING THAT WASN'T RIGHT. I also once or twice muttered "makeitstopmakestop" while diving headfirst into the nearest recliner; for some reason putting pressure on my head made it feel better., or at least gave me something tangible to latch on to.
Come to find out, it's something like a "silent migraine". At least, that's what a doctor told me when I brought it up at a check-up for the flu. Instead of causing actual pain, it distorts the senses somewhat. And since I am migraine-prone, that made sense to me at the time.
About the crushing sensation . . . it's not so much that the words themselves felt crushing, more like if I tried to change the words then I was pressed upon. And that makes no sense to me, because the occasion itself was completely trivial. =P
Until I was about 14, I would on occasion experience a strange phenomenon where every word I heard for a period of several minutes would have this crushing and insistent feel to it, much like I imagine the sensation you experienced when trying to alter that conversation of yours. Every word I said or thought would have a strange buzz or energy, and I couldn't make it stop. It was sinister and terrifying. It would only happen when I was alone, and each time it did, it nearly drove me mad. The most horrific part was that whenever it would happen, I was incapable of stopping muttering or thinking things to myself. If I could have just had no words going through my mind, the sensation would have gone away. Somehow I knew that was the case. But it was impossible to quiet my mind. Streams of thought like "itwon'tstopmakeitstopwhywon'titjustgoaway" would just pour through my mind. The way I got it to end every time was to walk up to someone and start a conversation. After several exchanges, the buzzing would cease, the heaviness would leave and things would return to normal. I never really discussed it with anyone around me because, frankly, it freaked me out. As much as I could not think about, I did...until it triggered again.
Perhaps more people experience strange sensations like these and we just aren't accustomed to sharing them with one another. Unless you've actually gotten involved with spiritism or the occult, which you'd almost certainly know quite definitively if you had, I'd say it's just a glitch, perhaps a more intense moment of déjà vu than most. The human brain is the most complex creation in the universe, and sometimes, even properly functioning ones misfire. At least that's what I keep telling myself. I can't explain why what happened to me did, or why it stopped, but it has. For all I know, it could happen again. At least now I know how to deal with it.
Any chance this could it be related to our synesthesia? *shrug*

XD You’re so silly. I bet you look dashing in a tux. =P
I like strawberries. Hush.
I refuse to hush. ._. But then I like strawberries too. The bit where the music got you or seemed too is very dreamlike. I can't imagine something in real life getting you like that. o_O
I've had some very vivid dreams. If I were to practice writing I could probably get the details down. Some were so detailed that they make me wish I could paint.
All in all, that sounds like a very interesting dream.
As long as I can see something, I can tell you about it. There was a man who walked in front of me at one point before the impact, but I couldn't tell you anything about him except that his suit was dark.
No, not really. I didn't see enough of the beginning to tie it to anything, and everything after leaning on that girl's shoulder fades out.
What worries me, though, is that I've had similar sensations before. In each case, the instance when it happens to me in real life is an exact replica of a dream I have had at some point previously.
It's almost like déjà vu, in that when it happens I can literally say "I've done this before" or "this has happened before" and can predict exactly what's going to happen in the next two to three seconds as it happens...within certain confines.
For instance, the situation is always something completely trivial. The first one I can remember is just me looking at a playground at a certain time in the afternoon from a certain side, with the sun at a certain angle. That happened to me when I was nine or so. Meant absolutely nothing. The one that happened most recently was a conversation between me and my supervisor back when I was on the Wal-Mart remodeling staff, about whether a particular cable would work. It was only the exchange of five lines of dialogue, but I could have told you exactly what he was going to say and exactly how I was going to respond . . . and I even tried to vary what I said based on the outcome I knew was going to happen, but when I tried to I felt like something was crushing my chest, and I failed to alter it.
Also, I can never tell ahead of time that I've dreamed the instance. I only realise it while the instance is happening, and I always remember it foggily, with lots of the surrounding details blurred out. So that eliminates the possibility of clairvoyance, or at least being able to exploit it, which oddly enough eases my mind.
But every time I've had one of these "déjà vu" things, I always have vertigo, and my breath always comes short. So what I'm worried about is that I actually dreamed one of those instances. I have no desire to watch for it to happen because first I have no idea how old I was in the dream, and second there's yet to be a set interval between when I've experienced the situation and when I remember having the dream. Once it was three weeks. The time in the truck with my supervisor, I remembered having the dream back when I started high school, so that would have been four years.
(And also something about the whole thing feels remarkably occult-ish, and that puts me right off of caring about the truth of the matter at all. If it is, I don't want anything to do with it.)
