Well you know that I only catch you in grammar mistakes because you'd do the same thing for me. So it's a mutual thing between us grammar nazis. So no worries man. Let fools be foolish.
You are an excellent writer and if I did find some typo in your writing, I wouldn't be the first to point it out o3o. My grammar isn't the greatest and neither is my spelling, so I don't make it my duty to point out the mistakes of others, unless they're a friend.
So uhh, I see why you're ticked. Personally, I save the english for english class >__<
You swore. o_O I know you said Pardon my French in a comment. But I thought you had to say that before you swear. oO Yes I am now confused again. >_> Sorry, I don't mean to be.
So why does it matter if you make a mistake? We all do right? Sounds like they're just being rude! I think you should ignore those rude people.
Hmmm, so you understand grammar and such better. I see it like this, good for you. I know I sure as hell don't. I get mixed up with all the medical abbreviations and form of writing that my job requires, because it sure as hell isn't proper English. =P
In the end, trying to one up you is just pointless. So you know more... seriously, so what? It doesn't make me any less good at what I do and I think people forget that. They focus on the fact that you can do it better instead of focusing on what they can do.
They also forget that someone knowing more on a subject doesn't affect their life in any meaningful way. Just as showing them up won't change their life either.
I see it like this... who cares of you make a mistake? o_O Like Indi, I've seen you make a few, mainly when reading SD (you usually end up coming along and editing it later to fix it) and I honestly think nothing of it.
I don't get why anyone would care if you make a mistake. It's a message board for crying out loud, not a homework assignment. XD Anyway, I really hate when people are petty over little things like that.
Beats me, seriously it does. I see those posts and wonder why people care to tell the truth. It's just stupid petty nitpicking that makes no point. I don't know why they even care.
It's like they're threatened by someone knowing more than they do... which when you consider there are TONS of people out there who know more than you do about something... makes the whole thing pretty juvenile on their part.

Allamorph, I've seen mistakes by you and frankly, all I do is ignore it cause usually it's a stupid typo and not worth mentioning. Plus I know you're better at it than I am and I don't give a crap either. =P I have no urge to prove anything.
Having seen the post in question, or one of them though... facepalm* It makes me wonder about some people. So someone is better at stuff than you... Whoop De Do Da. I don't get why they attempt to give you grief over it.
Anyway... *pats you on the back* As other's have said, I'm sorry that people have to be pigheaded idiots about that kind of stuff.

I can do this stuff easy as breathing. I have been reading since I was five and writing since I was seven. I taught myself everything, essentially; I was handed a grammar workbook and told "Go," and I finished the darn things faster than I was supposed to for my age. I had a college-age reading skill when I was in the freaking FIFTH GRADE.
*high-fives* Ah, another one. I seemed to have that problem way back then too. It really sucks that you've got all the Grammar Nazi Wannabes hounding you, waiting for the tiniest typo.
I'll hold 'em down, you handle the rusty implement of orifice-tearing.
I honestly don't get it myself. I mean I make tons of mistakes myself so I don't care if others do. The only time I'll correct someone is if the mistake is the type to twist things where it's saying something that could be embarassing.

That makes no sense to me, you are the moderator for Anthology. o_O So isn't it your job to provide feedback when asked? Also...
*whacks you with a pillow for swearing*
No excuses! >_> Okay, I'm only kidding. I'd find that kind of nitpicking really frustrating too. People are silly creatures. ._.

You told me I could do that. :|
Other than that, I dunno. I'm always making mistakes so I guess I've gotten used to being corrected by others. > >;;

@SunfallE:
It's like they're threatened by someone knowing more than they do...
That is the heart of the matter, right there.
And that fear is caused by self-doubt.
Can we not have a generation raised, just once, who actually believe they are who they are, and don't need someone else's approval for it?

I admit I'm not much of a grammar person, and I am one of a few who welcome a well-placed correction.
You sure had quite an achievement - college level reading at fifth grade? Wow.
