You really can sit and spend hours doing just about anything can't you? *pokes you* I should get that for Sabrina, it sounds like a game she would play. =P
I actually had my mom come look at the computer so I could show her the subject line :3
Also, I have a Gamecube so I do believe I'll look into that game. I'm super poor however and as such will have to find it used someplace. Hrm.
For someone who doesn't like massive cuteness you sure wrote a lot about it. And did a very good job at making it sound appealing, I might add.
Pretty sure I'd be devastated it I accidentally threw one and it was deformed.
Edit: Oh yeah. As Twisted said, I have a rather addictive personality as well...maybe I shouldn't get it...Perhaps if I found someone who had it and borrowed it for a short period of time...?

Haha, the weather's been beautiful here. I've never seen so many weed whips out in March. =P Though it's sure to freeze again, meaning all those impatient blossoms covering everything will die. =(
Things that are by design addictive are not a wise or healthy choice for me, so I try to avoid them. Even if they're awesome, I still have to stay away. Yes, it's a sad life I lead... *shot*

Sonic Adventure Heroes 2? I've never heard it called that, lol. Always been Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for me. And the DC Kastom speaks of is the Sega DreamCast version. The GCN version is a port.
Anyway, I am also a Chao breeder. I have a boatload of the little buggers, though I only raise them on Chaos Drives. Four Dark Chao and four Hero Chao. They're all adorable.
Did you know you can make Sonic, Shadow and Chaos One Chaos? There's a science to it, but it's possible. I have an orange Shadow Chao named Streak (Running/Running-type). He beats the crap out of the other Chao in running races. But he loves to sing and play his flute. ^^ He's so cute. I also have a Power-Power-type Dark Chao named Bam-Bam that's all black with red rings on his massive forearms. He's awesome.
As for my Hero Chao, they're all brats. XD Sky is a Flying-type that follows Sonic around every time he shows up, lol. She's the only cute one.
And I've made Tiger Chao before. They turn out pretty awesome-looking.
The Chao do eventually die, by the way. My very first Chao died on me. But that's before I knew what I was doing, lol.

Woah, my bad. For some reason I just totally got it in my head that you had the DC version, lol. Gotta stop drinking at work I guess.
Hahahaha...
Yeah, once I setup a guy the way I want them to be with the animals, I just use the drives. But really, I only ever concentrated on the one. I left the rest of them to just sit around mainly, lol. Whatever, the one guy was totally sweet.
Hahahahaha...making a little "band of heroes" of chaos. That'd be hilarious.
Uhh, DC version? I was playing GC also, man . . . unless you mean the Dark Chao, but that makes no sense . . . .
No, but I haven't actually seen one die, what since I've only got about fifteen hours logged in the Garden, or so. I just went looking for what all was in the Black Market and stumbled across a guide that talked about Chao dying.
I tell you what, though, when I get to Summer break I'm going to be gunning for my own little Chao band. (Also I'll be attempting to max Dragon Man while making sure he stays a Dragon. Hooray for drives. =P) Got a A-rank flier that I'm trying to steer dark, but my Swimmer's already a Hero. Cute little girl; she bobs her head and sings a note when I'm around, while Dragon Man and the runner-type and other power (bought eggs) all give the little thumbs-up deal.
I wanted to take one of them totally tiger or leopard. > >
Ugh, yes! Chao Garden. That place has sucked more hours out of my life than I'd like to admit.
Hahahahaha...
I have Sonic 2 Battle for the GC, got it when it first came out. At first I didn't do much in the garden, mainly playing the game (which personally I quite rather liked), but then the garden grabbed hold of me and my obsessive nature caused me to grind those little buggers like crazy.
I have this one (I assume I still have 'im on my memory card, I haven't played the game in probably two years or more) that I maxed out all of his stats. It took UGH long, but totally worth it, just to see him completely annihilate every opponent in the races and battles. He's also very cool looking, as he's orange, got all tiger parts, and a sweet halo (he's a hero type).
God, that sentence basically makes me lose all credibility as a serious gamer...
lol.
As for dieing, never happened to me, but maybe it's different in the DC version. I'm positive I would've encountered it before if it was in the GC version.
Does the DC version have the different gardens as well? I like the hero garden the best, what with the tower thingy.
Awesome to know there is someone else out there that also has gone into this part of the game, lol.
Which reminds me, here are Dark and Hero Chao, which I forgot to mention. Colors are not set in stone, but general trend of lighter and darker colors is kinda obvious.
I think the halo and the spiky ball ideas were cool.

I think one of my friends has this game. I don't remember any little creatures like that. I'll have to ask, it sounds like fun.
