I enjoy the rain here, but as the others said, we get a real rain storm so rarely. Dallas Tx was another story... >_> Though fun to watch, I do not care for rain coming down so hard that you can't even see your car parked out in the street. XP Nor did I care for freezing rain. Brr.
It is beautiful though and I love the sound of it hitting the house, the trees, the ground, etc. Sometimes I wish we got it more often here.
Now... as for taking you literally... *poke* I'll do that if I want to thank you very much! :p
We get rain so rarely, so when it does come down... it seems pointless to object. :p Well other than if I have stuff with me that I don't want to get wet.

Yeah, the rain gets old after awhile. I like it as long as I don't have to go anywhere.
Well, I don't write for fun too often, except in RPs. I do plan unnecessarily long for those, actually.
Where have I been? Slacking off from schoolwork. Takes up a lot of time, you know. :P
I like rain, since it's so rare here. In the summer, I like standing outside in it and getting soaked. >_> Maybe if it happened more often, I wouldn't, but it doesn't. ^_^
Rain is nice and I do like to walk when its rainning. It makes me feel good and I get all bubbly inside, go figures. XD
But I'm talking about light rain not that type of shower rain when you get soaked wet in like a few minutes, that one is not fun at all.

I feel exactly the same way about rain. It's fine as long as I don't have to go out in it, but when I do my mood instantly turns sour.
I always hated the long trudge from the parking garage to my clases at university on rainy days, because the rain was always guaranteed to be driven by wind, and in that case umbrellas are barely useful at all. I'm not a fan of having to sit through classes for 5 hours while I'm half wet.
Rain? I LOVE rain! No matter what! I like being rained on, I like being inside when it's raining, everything! The only thing I can't stand actually is when there are sun showers. It totally ruins the mood. I like it when it's raining all day, and really dark outside, even in the middle of the afternoon. Mwhahahaha!
Raining on you a bit lately? Sounds like the midwest. April showers? More like April flash flooding around here. It's 34 degrees right now, with icy rains expected over the next several days. Yay. It should be 70 on Tuesday though. More yay.

I don't mind rain very much. Even with my long hair, the water just runs down off the ponytail and doesn't make it any more troublesome than being dry. And rain gives me an excuse to wear my trench coat and hat.
You'd hate living in Vancouver, then. I think our civic emblem is an inside-out umbrella, possibly . . .
I totally missed the "how do you write?" thing. For me, I generally write pretty quickly because if I don't then I'll forget about it and then get uninspired. In terms of "full-length" type stuff, I usually have the main idea completely in my head, maybe I'll take some quick point-form notes on how it'll all play out, maybe some key things or lines that need to happen along the way . . . and then after that, it's just fingers to keyboard and see where it goes.
I think a plus for me is that I have a very visual-minded way of thinking (sometimes makes me wish I had a video camera) and that I have a fairly decent grasp of describing action like fighting, the way bodies fall over, stuff like that. As long as I have the specific . . . choreography, we'll say, in my head, then usually the written bits fall into place easily enough.
But yeah, generally for me, I'll sit down and go "okay, time to write!" and just chop at it - actually, I find just writing off the cusp leads to some of the funnier things people remember (like . . . I had no idea someone shouting "Goddamn laws of physics!" would be so well-received). I guess a lot can be said about immediate moment inspiration (there's a couple myO comments I've left people that were kinda epic like that).

Yeah, that's my philosophy on rain (and cold and snow, for that matter). Love it when I'm inside & cozy; hate it when I'm outside in the thick of it.

I like rain... even Aaryanna likes it if it's not too much. The dummy just stands there sniffing the air while getting soaked at the same time. XP

I probably should have clarified last time, 'cause a bunch of you darn people took me all literally and what. =P
It's from living in Utah too long, so sue me. :p And get outside and get rained on! Well, when it's not a freezing rain that is.
