Chapter 10: and the Training begins
Lenne: “alright we’re going to try this whole training thing again…” they walked up toi the elevator again as they did 6weeks ago.
Momoko: “are you sure we should?” she looked at Lenne.
Lenne: “well they have to learn sometime Momoko…”
Momoko: “yeah…I’m not gonna keep protecting them…” she chuckled.
Lenne: she hit Momoko in the head “knock it off…” she twitched.
Takeshi: “do they ever get along?” he sighed shrugging.
Kaen: “yeah…they do…it’s just in their own way…”
Takeshi: “yeah…I guess…”
Lenne: she looked at Kaen and Takeshi “when you two enter the room I’m making it harder since you have to learn it fast so work together understand!?”
Takeshi and Kaen: look at each other then look at Lenne and nod.
Lenne: “good! Momoko and I will be training on our own so we won’t be there with you rely on each other and it’s over but that doesn’t mean go your separate ways do that and you’ll die…stick together and ACTUALLY accomplish something!”
Takeshi and Kaen: they nod again.
Momoko: “Lenne-chan I think they get it…”
Lenne: “alright lets go… we’ll spend the entire day in here so save your energy…” the elevator stopped and they walked into the hallway which was fixed. “once again your door is there… the second door…” she pointed to it.
Momoko: “I’m off!” she smiled winked and went into another one of the doors labeled level 3.
Lenne: she walked in after her “I set the controls last night so everything should be set up for you two…” she shut the door behind her.
Takeshi: “alright…lets go…” he walked in and started falling “WHERES THE FLOOR!?”
Kaen: “Fly idiot!” he sighed and closed his eyes.
Takeshi: “huh? Oh…right…”
Kaen: he spread his wings rolling his eyes and took off into the room shuting the door behind him.
Momoko: she spins the chakrams in her hands trying to trace the speed of the illusionary twilight angel. She threw one of the chakrams and ran up to the twilight but it disappeared. “Damn!” (thought: how is Lenne moving so fast!?)
Lenne: she caught up with the illusionary twilight with ease and bashed it with her flaming fists and kicks. She took a hold of his head and bashed it into the wall.
Momoko: “Lenne how are you moving so fast!?”
Lenne: “like I would know!” she threw the twilight angel across the room.
Momoko: she grabbed a hold of him and put her index and middle fingers together and held them in front of her” Kai! Rage of the angels those who defy us…” a red ball of energy-like plasma forms in front of her “pour down on this thing that denies us our peace!” the plasma-energy ball moved around for a bit and sunk into the illusionary twilight making him scream with pain. Momoko was breathing heavily her eyes half way closed she started falling as she fell unconscious.
Lenne: “Momoko!” she flew down and grabbed Momoko. She flew down to the ground and set her down. “You idiot! At least be on the ground before trying that!” she leaned against one of the trees. There was a ruffling in a near by bush. She rose her gauntlet in front of it as it caught fire “who’s there!?” she glared at where the sound came from.
[Takeshi and Kaen]
Kaen: he heard something zoom past them “hey…did you hear that?”
Takeshi: “hear what?” he looked at Kaen.
Kaen: “shhh…listen…”
Takeshi: the thing zoomed by them again. After a split second Takeshi screamed in pain. Blood splattered from his chest.
Kaen: “what the hell!?” he looked wide-eyed at Takeshi.
Takeshi: “I thought we weren’t dealing with them yet!”
Kaen: “Lenne boosted the field remember!”
Takeshi: “damn…that’s right…” he sighed grabbing his wound. He took a deep breath “cover me!”
Kaen: “what are you going to do!?”
Takeshi: “I think I can heal this make sure it doesn’t kill me!”
Kaen: he nodded and moved over to Takeshi. The plates on his arms turned to blades and he crossed his arms over his face.
Takeshi: he out his hand over his wound and took a deep breath. The wound wasn’t that deep so it didn’t puncture any major organs. “Kai, from the heavens and light above to the darkness from below, Take my sins and forgive the wrongs I’ve made and heal the blood that pours out of my body.” A white light appeared in his hand and a few seconds later his wound was healed. “Yes!” he swung his hand to the side and brass knuckles appeared on his hands “I think I got another one!” he smirked closing his eyes. “Kai! In spite of my darkness spike my enemies so they to feel my pain!” spikes grew on his brass knuckles and his arms were surrounded with a dark purple aura.
Kaen: he rolled his eyes “stop being so dramatic!” as sparks flew from the impact of the twilight’s sword clashing with Kaen’s bladed plates he winced.
Takeshi: he smirked and started tracing the twilight’s movements. “Gottcha!” as the twilight moved towards him he punched it in the face and it got sent back flying into the wall.
Kaen: his blades grew longer and he flew up to a second twilight uppercutting it sending the blade right through the illusion’s jaw, making it disappear.
Takeshi: “Go Kaen!” he smirked.
Kaen: he rolled his eyes and flew over to Takeshi “you alright?”
Takeshi: “yeah…but if our training is this hard how hard do you think the girls’ training is?”
Kaen: he chuckled “obviously pretty hard…”
Takeshi: “heh…glad I’m not over there then…” they were surrounded by demons.
[Momoko and Lenne]
Lenne: she glared at it some more.
[two figures zoomed out from the bushes at Lenne]
Lenne: “I don’t think so!” she stood up did a backflip and held her hand put in front of her. “Annihilate!” there was a flash of light as she pictured the two twilight angels in her mind and they disintegrated. Lenne opened her eyes to find only her and Momoko there.
Momoko: she looked up at lenne. “w-what happened?” she stretched.
Lenne: “you used that attack that I told you not to use you idiot!” she glared at Momoko.
Momoko: “well! You used the attack we agreed you wouldn’t use!”
Lenne: she sighed “alright from now on we need to use those attacks…we have to get used to their effects and we have to be able to use them outside of this room eventually…especially when the twilights are so much stronger than us…”
Momoko: “right…” she sighed “then lets get started I’m still passing out everytime I use that attack…” she smiled. They were surrounded by twilights.
Lenne: “I call first shot!” she put her hands in front of her “Annihilate!” the light flashed again but only half disappeared this time. “damn!”
Momoko: “my turn!” she smiled and stood up. “Kai! Rage of the angels of those who defy us,” the red plasma forms in her palms. “pour down on this thing that denies us our peace!” the red plasma sinks into the twilight angels and they turn crimson red. They grab their heads and disappear. “Ha! That was—“ she falls down dizzy. “ohh…I feel light headed…I think I liked being unconscious better…”she shakes her head but that only makes it worse.
Lenne: she breaths heavily.
[Takeshi and Kaen]
Both: they’re breathing heavily as they fall to the ground
Kaen: “how much longer until we can stop?” he looks at Takeshi who’s sleeping.
[Lenne and Momoko]
Lenne: it got dark and everything disappeared it was just an empty room. “looks like the day is over…” she smirks “lets see how the guys did shall we?”
Momoko: “she smiles yeah…I can’t wait to see how tired they are…” she laughed.
Lenne: “should be fun…I still remember our first day of training…”
[Flashback]
[in front of the elevator]
Lenne: “this is supposed to get us to the training area that he wants us to train in?”
Momoko: “guess so…it looks like any other bunker we have here…”
Lenne: “plus there are nine bunkers he said there was 8….”
Momoko: “well then he miss coun…ted…” she opened the door to an actual elevator. They walked onto the elevator and it started moving
Lenne: “oh yeah…he miss counted alright…” she rolled her eyes.
Momoko: “hey! This is pretty cool!”
Lenne: “what are you talking about it’s creepy!” she crossed her arms obviously confused.
Momoko: she laughed
Lenne: “it’s not funny!” the elevator stops and opens again. They step into the hallway, to see a man standing there.
Man: “hello…welcome to the training area where you and the others will train.” He smiled kindly.
Momoko: “sweet! When do we start!?”
[End Flashback]
Lenne: “it’s so weird…” now we aren’t the only ones and the burden has lightened a bit….even if it’s just a little bit…”
Momoko: “no…the burden won’t lighten until the Twilight realm disappears…don’t forget that Lenne-chan…”
Lenne: “I won’t…” she closed her eyes. “lets go…” she opened them again and smiled.
