Anime USA anyone?

Okkk, so my dad doesn't really like anime much so he didn't want to drive me all the way to Baltimore just so we can go to Otakon, so he said I can't go this year... OTL

But the good thing is, I will definately be able to go to Anime USA~~~!!!! In Arlington, VA~~~~~!!!!! <3333333 Hooray!!! Now, I just have to pay for it. XD lol. I'm waiting for my first credit card to come in. Because my parents were tired of me always asking for money, so they just ordered me and my brother a credit card which will automatically add $150 per month. But the problem is, this $150 = my lunch money, going out to eat money, going to movies money, shopping money, etc...

So pretty much, I'm gonna be a hikikomori unless it's free to go somewhere until November!!! XD lol. Or my parents actually pay for something. 8D lol. But the moment my credit card comes in, I'm making a pay pal and buying teh $35 Anime USA membership pass~~!!! <33 Hooray! Then I'll wait until maybe early October to get a cosplay. :3 My friend's gonna help me make an Alfred cosplay this summer though, so hooray!! XD lol. Alfred as in America from Hetalia guys. :D lol.

HETALIA IS AMAZING!! IF YOU GUYS HAVE NOT SEEN/READ IT, GO NOW!!! It's my current obsession.

I'm surprised, I got one of my anime-hater friends to watch Hetalia, and.... SHE LOVES IT! Like that's all we talk about now. And because of that, she now watches all the new Hetalia eps, and reads the online translations on LJ and stuff. :3 haha. And she may be going to Anime USA with me COSPLAYING! Such a huge change don't you think? Just about 2 months ago, she was always telling me how much she doesn't understand why I like anime and she looked at me funny for wanting to go to conventions but now she wants to go and she's trying to raise money so she can buy a cosplay and go to the convention! Wow! lol.

Anyways, so I will be going to Anime USA 2009 and I will either be cosplaying America or Japan. My friends and I are going to try to make a Hetalia cosplay group, and so far for the AUSA, we have a France, Germany, Italy, Hungary (maybe), England, Lithuania, Me (either America or Japan. Still haven't decided.), and my brother (either Hong Kong or Greece). I'll tell you guys more once it get's closer because AUSA is in November. :3 But if I don't buy the normal membership pass by June, then I won't be able to buy for $35... >3<;; So I hope the credit cards come in soon. And then if I DO decide to cosplay America, then I'll need to get a blonde wig and blue contacts. And now that I think about it, I will also need to get supplies for the cosplay and his boots... Aww, so much money, but I'm determined! X3 lol.

So my questions are:
Is anybody else thinking of going to Anime USA? Maybe another convention? Are you planning on cosplaying?

Well, that was a good update, don't you think? XD lol. Because I haven't updated my theO for like... FOREVER. lol. And my first "official" cosplay will be Hetalia!! Yay!! Once my cosplay is finished (or any of my other friends'), then I will definately post some pictures up for you guys to see. :3 I love Hetalia though. Yup, had to finish off with that. XD
