Short Update + A Silent Voice

I went to see "A Silent Voice"/"Koe no Katachi" this past week, and it was a great movie! I know I talked with Toya about it (the first time it screened, I think), and we weren't sure at that time if it would get a release in the US. Well, the movie is now dubbed, and YES, it will get released here! *cheers*

Other than that, still working the same job and not a lot new. We had an arctic freeze here in the Midwest, and I'm SO glad that's over! XD

It's Already That Time!

Can't believe it's already time to start OCtober/Inktober tomorrow!! I think I'm going to do primarily OCtober, but I might throw some ink-only drawings in. ;) Will anyone else be participating this year?

What Happened to Summer?!

Why is it already the end of summer? TwT Who votes for an extension? Let's see a show of hands!

Well, I am glad to have cooler temperatures, at least. But the end of summer means it's the last quarter of the year, and I'm not looking forward to less daylight and driving in snow in a few months.

For some of you guys, this means the "Back to School" season is about to start. Are you excited? Or in dread?

Just a Sporadic Update

Hey, guys! Seems like I'm hearing a lot of people haven't been feeling well lately, so I hope you're doing better!

I'm still quietly visiting. It's sad to see how quiet the site has gotten -- some weeks, the fan art page barely updates. :( But I guess I'm not exactly helping there.

I've been trying to get back into writing, and I finally hit my stride on that end, so now I'm barely drawing. XD Oh, well, that's better than the complete art block I was having for a little while. (I even missed a challenge or two that I really wanted to do, but just couldn't get any concrete ideas for -- really frustrating.) I've still got a couple sketches I plan to share soon.
