Congrats to the grads out there, and for everyone else, happy summer! :D I hope everyone's doing well.

It's been a crazy couple months on my end. My family has been going through some health stuff, and work is burning me out. People have left, the company has reorg'ed (cut staff), and my workload is all over the place. Thankfully, I'm now taking my yearly "summer break" vacation time to rest, recharge — and hopefully do more art/writing. (I know I want to participate in Alchemic Mushroom's upcoming OC fanart challenge! Just debating which character(s) I want to use.)

On the art side, I've done two finished pieces this past month, one of them a crossover piece for an artist on UnVale. Both of them were kind of experimental, which was fun! On the writing side, I've been working on story, world and character development for Pet Projects and the Eternal Rain universe. I've been watching some helpful videos on YouTube for both art and writing. (The writing channels are AbbieEmmons and BookFox, if you think you'd also find these helpful.)

I think that's about it for me. For the students, enjoy your summer breaks! To everyone, hope you get to do all the fun summer things (but stay cool)!
