Well, that sounds like an interesting graphic novel indeed! Man, who doesn't wish that they could sometimes cross over into another world like in Inuyasha or Chronicles of Narnia?! I know I would granted, as long as I don't get sucked into a heated war like they always tend to.XD

Yes, I'd imagine that wars would not be pleasant things to drop into the middle of. But if it was peacetime, count me in!
