Sounds ridiculously complicated. But by the sound of your reply, you're holding your own just fine, which is good. As a family-oriented person myself, I can relate to wanting to do what you can to be there for your loved ones.

As for the "live in a certain city" part: huh? Unless you need to be there for a particular profession and are comfortable winging it without your loved ones, you shouldn't be pressured to move anywhere your heart doesn't tell you to go. Disney-esque sounding or not, that's just how I feel about it.

The way I live. Everyone seems to have an opinion on what I should and shouldn't be doing with my time. For some reason the popular opinion is that I should abandon my family and not help them with even the most basic things? And I should live in a certain city, and obtain a certain job. I agree! It died a long time ago...back when it got hit with the art theft and stuff. It's really sad. I mean, even I have a lot of wallpapers and cards and stuff I had meant to put up but I just lost motivation to ): I feel like it happened to a lot of people.

I know I stop by theO once in awhile and maybe it's just the fact that I haven't been watching "new" incoming artists, but this place seems dead x'D Like, I looked at the new person section and usually back in the day *hit* there's like a bunch of people who would go and welcome them to theO and now it seems like there isn't.
