Ahah! thats the same as me xD And I've never pulled the nib off either, but I might try it someday^^
Yeah, I'd think the blank markers would work better as they wouldn't be dirty inside (even if its totally dry, it wouldn't be totally clean from the other ink). I've never done this before though, but I'm sure you could buy new empty markers somewhere!
I remember reading once that Copics can last 3 years without drying out and without you using them with the lid is secure. they have no problem with being in heat or different temperatures either. Check this out FAQ There are a lot of good questions/answers at the top of this page!
I think I'd be too terrified to pull the nib out of the marker to refill (if I do get any copics I'll probably treat them as sacred XD)
It's really cool that you can make your own colors like that!!! (the girl said you can buy already blank/dry markers for that? or do you use a marker that had ink in it, but no longer does?)
Also, can the ink in these markers dry out like regular markers (I assume they would if you didn't put the cap on right, but what about over time, just from being old or refilling it to many times?)
Haha!! I've had my share of computer troubles as well... its the never-ending war between humans and technology xD At least my family's laptop is working pretty good these days^^
Ugh I hate slow internet! >_< I'm glad you thought the videos were interesting though! They are cool to watch and learn stuff fast while experience someone else's methods :D

Interesting Jenn..Looks so easy..^^My internet is so slow i waited like 265 Million 6 hundred thousand and 5 hundred and 50 years for the video to load..
Good things comes 2 those who wait, The things you lost will always replace something better..
oh that's good that you pointed that out, I didn't even think about that. If you write something in the post, you should also mention how long to keep it open too!
Lol I searched 'refilling copic markers' to find this. I don't like how the girl in the video doesn't say too much about leaving both lids open though.... She says it wastes ink if it drips out the other end, but it would still do that if the lid was on (and then it would be messier)! Anyway, I like keeping both lids open :) I think I'll go back and write a little bit more info on that post!
Lol I'm glad it helped! :D
lol I don't even know how to find a video like this, maybe because I only looked up copics?!! XD
This was shocking for me, at least I know how to refill now before I destoryed a marker trying to figure out how to open it. XD
I know! Supposedly some artists have had the same marker for years! they just refill the ink and replace the tips now and then^^
Ack, they are pretty expensive Dx I buy mine for about $5 per marker (the Ciao type) but I think its even more worth it to buy the markers in packs. One thing though... I found that the markers in the pack I got gave me more trouble (they were less quality with the lids and ink =_=) Oh and if you do buy them separately, make sure the open and close with a 'snap'. I've had problems with them closing, but I really like them other then that!
Oh yes, for sure!! I will do some tutorials about how I use Copics! And i really hope you buy some... they are awesome! :D
Haha don't feel slow, cuz I thought the same thing!! When I found out how to do it, I was like O_O really?!
I might try finding some other methods and posting some more videos on this post, but I don't know if I'll find a good one or not.
I'm actually going shopping today to buy some more ink and stuff so I'm very excited x3
I had no idea you could refill these things (have to tell my friend about this).
I really want to get some of these markers, but there so expensive. Our art supply store just started carrying em for $7 each....if I use a coupon I may beable to buy on marker a week XD I really want to try em out.
I'd love to see a tutorial, or something written about how to use them, cuz I have no idea; I've never even held one.
