Hey Rose! Wow this post has lots of comments going on xD I think you did a great job, thanks so much for posting!!! Its really interesting :D I'm someone who will probably never draw a nude person since I'd get so embarrassed! O//u//O But I do agree that theres a difference between nude and porn... Look at Kachikamac's beautiful paintings! Now those are really pretty! And your artworks are really nice as well! But its very rare that I like nudity art... or should I say 'enjoy' it. I'm like byakuyarox1, I get very uncomfortable around most of it. I agree with your points though^^ Its just that fine line between just drawing nudes for art or for fun or not drawing it at all is like a giant canyon for me O_O I'm definitely too embarrassed to draw it myself or look at it too much. No offence though, your art is very well done and I like how you artistically incorporate it in your art^^ Keep up the great work, I can't wait for your next post here too!!!
well a lot of people are perverted and w ill think perverted things to a nudity art work can't help it, but it is nice to see what the artist is basing it on, i rather see the artist's thoughts for the picture/photo. i mean if there's nothing than i don't think there's much thought process to the picture/photo and just want to be popular that way. But i see what you are saying :)

I am actually a big fan of nude art. Nude women are a big part of classical art. There is a huge difference between nudity and porn. Nudity is natural and can be tasteful and expressive, and porn is meant for....well, porn lol. But I do think you have to have a certain maturity to appreciate nude art.
I think it depends on what exact type of nudity is shown(I'm not goin into detail)whether it to be considered pornography or not. It's a really set line for different people, but just because they SAY it doesn't mean that its perverted, but just a misunderstood opinion(I'm not justifying it either, I'm really biased on MY point of view). But if something is BLATANTLY pornography then we can all agree that that is not considered art.

Aww this is interesting Jenn..^^ I dont really have a problem with Naked art..But i do have a very very big problem with Porn..I hate hate hate it..I have zero respect for someone who watches porn
But i agree with you Jen..There isnt anything wrong with it..when you go to an art school the first thing you learn is how to draw the body..And its always naked..
Good things comes 2 those who wait, The things you lost will always replace something better..
i forgot to add that in college you must sketch out a nude model, but you are right it is a very good reference or base to start on i do it all the time. Thank you for your comment and reminding about the nude model in college :)
I completely agree nudity art should be something one tries, but if your serious on being an artist, its very unavoidable, especially when you take art programs, of any kind in college/university, you WILL have classes where you have nude models. As far as the anatomy goes, its the best reference. When i go to draw my characters they are usually without cloths first(that way you can get the right proportions before going all out with details)
