I forget where I even saw those computer plans! but I do remember seeing them somewhere! I think it would help, starting it digitally to get the measurements down. Yeah, it would still be so confusing though!! XP
Ack I'm gonna have to check that video link on the art post... I still didn't refresh it! Man I totally forgot O_O
Its ok^^ I figured that after I read your other comment! I hope you enjoy your weekend next week then! With no work, it will be nice to relax and get out of the art block!
I've been having trouble with my manga >3< Its like I feel discouraged when I think of it? There's just too much on the go for me right now. I think we both need to get some nice time to relax and stop stressing xD Work is distracting us!
oh I dind't even think about him using the computer! XD That would be really helpful for that! it's smart too! I guess he would solve one problem there, but then the colors are another thing?
I made a mistake, I thought it was this week but it won't be until next week! @_@
Yeah exactly!!! I think that some of these chalk artists actually plan their drawings on the computer and then get the measurements for the angle, but then they have to be worried about how to colour and everything else xP
Ah you're right! I was wondering that too! But its so cool how he used the bench xD I like those pond ones too! I can't believe how realistic the water is @_@
Ah you have a 3 day weekend too! I would have had a weekend but I'm working all the time. I'm glad I could even get on theO now!! I hope you enjoy your weekend and free time^^ I can't wait to see what you do, whether its tutorials or artwork!
I would be confused to since he stretches his drawing and I wonder how he knows what it will look like when he gets the angel he wants? that part would confuse me but it's so fun to look at! XD I saw that snail one! I like that one too! it's a little funny though cause he drew on the bench I hope he didn't get in trouble for that!
I like all the ones he did of ponds, those looks really nice and it looks like real water!
I'll see if I can, I thought I could do it over the weekend but I have to work! But at least I'll have a 3 day weekend if nobody screws it up?!!! XD

Yeah! And it looks so hard!!! I'd be way confused if I did it xD
Ooo one of my favourites is the snail that is climbing onto the bench! I don't know i you saw it or not, but the stretched version goes across the bench and actually uses a post in the sidewalk for one of its eyes! Its amazing!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the site links!
AH! Thankyou!! I think I was forgetting the slash in [/IMG]! Awesome, so now I know how to do that x3 THANKYOU!! And that would be awesome if you did a tutorial like that cuz I don't think many people know^^
He does, while I was looking at his site with the links you provided I saw that he does stretch the image and then when you look at it at a certain angle it looks normal! XD That was pretty cool to see! I also saw some of his wip photos and I liked those! XD
You know I'll see if I can make a tutorial on how to post more then one image in your world. you still use this code: .
I'll see if I work on that over the weekend if I have time?
So true!! I think he even has to stretch out the image so that it will look right when viewed at a certain angle? O_O I'd be totally lost with that XD It looks too hard!
Ah good idea!! I should do that then! ... Ugh I still am confused about how to post multiple images though. You told me about the photo uploading site, but what about how to post internet images? I don't know how I'm supposed to do it with the links! I could also just post the google image link I gave you! :D
I know, its so amazing! I feel like showing my little brother, I don't think he's seen it either! the first time I saw some chalk art was when I got an email about it a while ago and I thought it was neat! I've seen some really neat digital manipulations too, I should try to find them^^
Ah its totally fine! I knew what you were talking about, I didn't even realize it was off subject xD All of our comments are like one huge conversation! lol
I was looking through more of that guys chalk art and I have to say he's really good at perspective and the way some people pose in the photos really tricked me!
Thanks so much for sharing his art with me! It still leaves me speechless! XD
You know maybe you should post some of his art for the art cubby! I think everyone will love his art and be just as amazed! XD I would like to do it, but I don't know him since you introduced me to his awesome work! XD
Oh sorry manga, I meant to post that bottom reply on the other comment but I got confused on what I was replying since I was multitasking?!!! @_@
Oh that would be so fun!! x3 I'd be able to finally watch anime and it would be so fun with you too... Ahhh such nice dreams~ XD
LOL I know right! Totally! And when I looked up the images, I saw one that I hadn't seen before too and they're even better then the old ones!!!
Yeah you're right! I wonder if its all just chalk or if they use something else like spray paint? It looks just so stunning, I'm glad we're talking about it now cuz I hadn't even looked at them recently! XD Do you have a favourite? I don't know if I do yet, I'll have to look again!
Yes I can tell how excited you are! I'm so glad you enjoyed them so much!!!
Thats a good idea! You don't want to stress over it, so something short and funny would be good too! I'll totally love whatever you make, I'm sure the contest creator will too! Its fun that a comic challenge was made!
I have to go to bed now, but I'll talk to you later Toya! *hugs*
that would be nice it's just to bad we don't live close to eachother! if we did we could watch a lot of anime on my laptop! XD
I just looked at the chalk work and man it has me spazzing out! All the artwork looks amazing!!! It looks so real! and I know what if I was walking by, I might really mistake the illusion for a the real thing! Man it's so cool I love it! I wish I could to something like that! I know I looked at it, but it seriously doesn't look like chalk!!!!
lol you can tell how excited I got looking at it!!! XD
I really want to draw the personal memory (it's actully not to personal), but I feel like it's going to be hard to plan out, so I might do a shorter funny memory! XD
Lol yes! It would be so confusing xD
Ah *nods* Remember that you do those shading and crosshatching and it gives the illusion of a background or more detail? I think thats like an illusion! And I like how your colours match and pop out in your art too :)
Sure! here's a link: Here on google. I just searched them on google images since I couldn't find a proper website with the good ones! Some of these are way cool!! But I bet it all washes out with rain @_@
Xd I love them but I agree, if I tried dong them I would still staring at the paper for hours too! XD
I do? Are you sure? I don't think I notice at all?@_@
Oh no I haven't! Chalk art are cool! Do you have a link to some?
No neither of us have tried doing optical illusions... It sounds like a really neat idea! Lol I agree though, I myself would probably get so confused. I'd end up just staring at the paper xD
Teehee I think you already do some cool illusions without knowing... like in your backgrounds! BUt doing an actual illusion looks so hard >3< Ahaha sometimes I forget that people actually painted those famous illusions O_O
Oh oh! Did you ever see pictures of the artist who does chalk illusions on sidewalks??
Have your or your sister ever tried drawing optical illusions? I want to but I can never get an idea and I think those are so cool, but it's still a wonder how they do them! XD
Lol no problem! I thought it would be confusing if I just started talking about it without telling you xD I would have replied earlier but wanted my sis to reply and she didn't know that xD
Yeah! It might give a weird illusion because of all the detail and contrast of black and white!
Its ok, I totally forgot about those images til my sister reminded me xD And they actually are hard to see @_@
Glad you enjoyed this though! I'm going to post some of my brother's doodles still, just have to set them up in a collage^^
pfft good thing you told me what tis was about or I might be lost! XD
I see so that's what she used! I thought it might be that,I wasn't sure cause it looks digital and it also look like stained glass? So that a pretty neat effect!
Oh I'm going to take another look at her project I don't think I saw the snail or the directions! I'm blind!!! XD
Dude, you should definitely create a challenge like that (but give some time with it..haha)! I'm glad your sister appreciated the comment. Good art is always appreciated here. :)

Yeah it does look digital! I'm feeling like doing one now too, it would be neat and relaxing to do a bunch of random designs!
And my sister planned this a bit... You might be able to see a larger image of a snail and N, E, S, and W on each side that represents the directions! I really wish I could post it bigger T^T I'm glad you liked it!
wow!! O.O tell your sister this looks really really AWESOME!!! OAO it's so detailed that I could stay and watch at it for hours!! XD
