Thanks for sharing Celestia, I have been kinda new to digital art myself and I wish I had photoshop lol, still need practicing though, and that reminds me I need a new drawing board.
Thanks CCC :D well the H series pencils the leads are hard, 9h being the hardest, therefore it gives of a dull light mark, but you have to be careful not to press hard while using it because it will leave a mark on the paper. For the B series pencils those are soft and gives off a bright darker shade, with 9b being the darkest. So basically they are like opposites.

I usually start with a pencil sketch, done with a .5 mechanical pencil. I use a plastic art eraser and one of those putty erasers (and I have caught myself taking breaks from drawing to stretch the eraser XDD Sheesh, I've even done it consciously). I then use either Prismacolor fine line markers or a Sandford Onyx Micro ball-point pen to outline, after which I erase the pencil lines.
The image is then scanned into my computer, and then usually colored with Manga Studio Debut 3.0. I do touch ups, effects, and maybe additional coloration in Photoshop Elements 10 (used to be 3.0 until June). Any resizing is done in Microsoft Office Picture Manager, and minor details and the like are done in MS Paint (Windows 7 version).
Yeah, that's pretty much my creative process most of the time. Sometimes I use a six-inch ruler, particularly if I'm drawing comic borders or furniture (a good recent example of this is page 2 of my comic "Otaku General"). And I will sometimes draw on a clipboard, at my desk, or with a drawing board I recently bought at my local craft store.
