This is so awesome, Panou!!! I really love what you posted here... I always find the left brain vs right brain to be really interesting. And I definitely get confused over things myself... I would have lots of trouble drawing those artworks u did above, seeing I can't get my left brain around them xD so i will keep this in my mind and try to give my right-brain some more rein!!

The advice was so helpful Panou! Last night I did an awesome drawing and it was hard because I was working with charcoal, but the technique helped me out to draw the lighting right. so it made my drawing a bit more believable :) Ooo I also did alot of squinting, so my eyes got tired quick....
Thanks, dear! Yeah, it was pretty easy for me to do when I was doing this lesson, cuz I always did this kind of thing whenever I did draw! xD
Aw, really? It's okay, I tend to not comment cuz I don't know what say >,<
Ah, yes, I did actually! It looked really nice!
Whoa, that's what my art class have been up to as well! I always suffer in the end, because I have a bad habit of drawing things I don't see..I just assume... Thanks for the advice, I will try it out tonight in class. The bad thing is that I will be covered in charcoal... :D
If you think about it, pretty much everything can be broken down into ovals and polygons. When I took art lessons, every student's first drawing was "basic shapes". It was a requirement. Another interesting lesson I had when my teacher took a random sculpture and draped a piece of cloth to cover it. I had to draw that.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
Amazing post. Good advice too. I think that's my problem, I see the objects instead of shapes. Maybe if I break it down to shape level I won't get so stressed out with my art. Good post. I need to post here more. But my posts never get any comments. Why is that? Just wondering.
Hey did you see my good vs evil wallpaper?

Very cool!
I wish I could take art, but this is definitely something I would like to be reminded of whenever I do decide to try to draw something ^^

It is like seeing someone from the "inside". You can see the organs, but but, if you look deeper... you can find the true emotions. ;)
I give kind of creepy examples (XD), but your post was very interesting.^^
