Looks like two years is not a very long time to be gone. Germany was amazing, a piece of my heart belongs to Berlin, but I'm glad to be home in Australia.

Two years of soul searching and stretching and tramping around in cold, damp and snowy weather has given me a lot of time to reflect.

What does that really mean for my cult reader base?

I purchased a small moleskine notebook in my early days in the city of Werdau, Sachsen. I began to write and fill it with a multitude of story ideas that started flying into my head as I made my way through the dark winter streets of a country still recovering from communism. I met and served with an amazing selection of hilarious and deep people who have seen hardship and sorrow in their lives and had chosen to enjoy life despite it all.

I have ideas. I'm going to write them and post them here.

Let's see what happens.

Don't worry, there'll be explosions and excitement

Fanfiction?

Darren- The Legions of Basement Cat swell with each passing day.

I had the odd thought the other day. I'm not someone who fanfictions [except to draw some form of amusement from it], but I may take a foray into it. I think I ought to, in fact, I must create something bizarre.

Okay, I will make some crossover suggestions that will not match, and I will guarantee that they will have my particularly odd twist to them. [That's a good thing].

Here are my two suggestions. I did have a third, but I've forgotten it.

1.
The Phantom crossed with The Harry Potter world

2.
The Inheritance Cycle [Eragon etc] crossed with The Ratchet and Clank Universe

3. Blast. Thought I remembered it. Something involving Scarecrow...can't quite remember.

Well I'm open for suggestion. Whatever gets picked [or added] I'll make an original cross over that I will try to make work. Nothing dodgy, something that makes you read and go "aha"

Crazy, I know. Whatever, it could be fun.

I have always wanted someone to just shoot Voldemort. Seriously. Maybe I need to do an original fanfiction involving the British SAS getting called in to make the hit...
