Welcome friends, Romans, bumders. This is the spot for all my personal musings and random trash that doesn't fall into the fiction category. (Which the Starscream Collection is now for.)
Huzzah!
Now, go steal me fresh jams.

Blarrgh, not long since returned from the hospital in Derby for my check up. I cancelled the operation on my right elbow back in november, because it's actually been behaving. (I've just had wrist pain instead. Joy.)
So, I explained it, said I didn't want to waste their time by having them hack me open just to find nothing's up. So, he (Surgeon) suggested that I go for more nerve tests. GREEEAT! Dancing arm time... For the 5th time. But, yeah. It's what I wanted. I'd prefer them to get it right and know exactly what's up rather than eagerly diving into my elbow region with sharp, pointy things. It was bad enough the last two times. :P
Here! Have a picture of Spiderman's butt:
Post Pals is an awesome site dedicated to making very ill children smile. The idea is you pick a child from the list and send emails, letters, cards and even gifts if you want. This project is for anyone of any age, in any country. So, if you have a few minutes and some paper spare, go visit and write to a child!
The site hosts the childs pages with a photo, name, forwarding address for the family and lists info like their pets, brothers, sisters and favourite things. It will also tell you the story behind them and about their illnesses and sometimes the parents update the page with new info like a blog.
Often these children are in hospital for months and they need things to cheer them up and take their mind off of things. Even if it's just a colourful doodle, it can brighten up a dull hospital room. Even old toys can be sent to them, or fun handmade stuff like a cross stitch door sign with their names on it, or even things like custom made jewelry.
Most of the time, they just like to hear your stories. Tell them about your life, your family and pets and what you like. If you have something in common, talk about that. Most even like to reply back and you can make a new little friend out of the experience.
If you have the time to spare, please consider it. Or, failing that, pass the link on to others. :)

I finally got the internet back today after 3 months!
It's both awesome and annoying though, as someone has decided to hack my DA account and delete it. So, that's 8 years down the drain and nearly 2000 pics. (Including personal photos of family and pets that I can't recover.) And DA won't do anything about it.
Ah well, nevermind. At least I can still get on here. :P
So, I got a letter on monday from the landlord. It was offering me an alternate residence. While this may sound like a good thing, it really is not. They expected me to reply within 3 days. I only got the letter monday, as I'd been away and it was apparently dated friday.
The property offered? A 1 bedroom flat. But, the amusing part about it is that you can't even call it that, since the livingroom and the bedroom are, essentially, the same fragging room. The kitchen is bigger for crying out loud!
They are expecting me and Lee to live in that pokey hole. How are we supposed to fit all our stuff in it? Seriously...
Oh, wait till I tell you the best part...
We went to view it today and was pressured into saying yes. The thing is, we don't even have a choice, so we have to put up with it. We can't refuse, or we ARE out on our asses. And here comes the icing on the cake... How long to move out? (Bear in mind I've lived in this 3 bedroom house all my life, so I got a lot of stuff.) I have until sunday of next week...
WTF?!
This also means I'll be without internet for a bit too. So, sorry folks. :(
[Edit: Oh wait... I made an error. I have to be out by THIS sunday. ¬¬ ]
