That's not being stingy, if you're doing it for the principle. I guess I'd still want my pence back too. Hopefully you won't have to open a case again.
I still intend to get my 99p back. Haha. I know it sounds stingy, but 99p is 99p that I gave to someone. I'll open a case again soon if I haven't got it back by Feb. I gave them rep to mirror their actions.
Is it possible that the seller never had the shoes to sell in the first place? I hate thinking like that, but that's what it sounds like. I mean, who says "I am unable to post these to you. Which was stated when listed" when they clearly said "would you be willing to pay the additional cost once I know how much the postage is?"
Clearly, the fact that she was unable to post them to you was not stated when listed, as she said she would post them once she knew the cost.
You might not ever get the shoes. (Forgive my uneducatedness on Euros and British currency) If they were only 99 pence (no idea if I just used the right name, again sorry) and you already paid for them, you just might have to forget about it. I hate to be such a pessimist, but my gut is telling me "Eloise x" never intended to sell those shoes.
