Hello! My name is Azlin. My favorite colors are pink and purple. I have a dog. She's a Black Labrador Retriever named Shelby Sugarpants. Or Shelby for short. I used to be a huge anime fan when I first joined MyOtaku. I was 14 back then about 7 years ago. My favorite hobby has to be drawing fan art. My other hobbies are: sleeping, writing my blogs, surfing the net, walking my dog, using nailpolish, putting on makeup, shopping for new clothes, and playing video games. That's pretty much in order from done most often to almost never. I'm very painfully extremely shy. I like watching adult swim. I kind of miss being a kid. Happy Dog
My mom bought a few things for my dog yesterday. A bottle of Kefir (pronounced Key-Fur), canned pumpkin for dogs, and canned pink salmon. So I opened the can of salmon yesterday and I picked out what looked like the spine. I thought maybe the can we got was just a bad can or something, but then I looked it up and found out that the bones are edible. So today instead of picking out the bones, I put the whole can in a pan of water and cooked it. And the pumpkin mom bought was suggested by shelby's vet and mom told me to mix it with the salmon. (Eww)
Well, the vet told mom that all dogs like pumpkin...not shelby. Shelby didn't like it. And Shelby will only eat it mixed with her other food...and she only eats the salmon cooked. By cooked I mean heated up since the salmon is already cooked in the can. And the Kefir is bottled yogurt or something. I have no idea why she wants Shelby to eat this stuff. Oh there were three different flavors of Kefir; blueberry, strawberry, and pomegranate. I know shelby doesn't like strawberries. (I mistakenly gave a strawberry to her to make her breath smell better. Dogs aren't supposed to eat fruit. Oops.)
Well I picked the pomegranate and my sister was with us and she got the strawberry for her dog Bear. I didn't want to take a chance with the blueberry. And Shelby likes the pomegranate I picked for her! Actually it took some coaxing to get her to eat at first, because my mom bought her a new bag of dog food that she's never had before and she also has canned pumpkin, canned salmon, and Kefir to get used to. I would usually just give her chopped baby carrots and tuna fish in her doggy food.
So now that I've found out how to prepare the food in a way that she'll eat it, I have a happy dog!!!
Life
I went to Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills a week ago. I got a new nintendo ds game to replace one that I lost and a pair of shoelace-less tennis shoes. And we went to the rainforest cafe for lunch. Hmm...I only have 1 week of school left until the next term in 3 weeks. Right now it's 6:49 a.m. and I haven't slept at all. I seriously regret when I do this, but I can never get myself to relax enough for sleep. Then I sleep in until like 5:00 p.m. Oh, my birthday is in 2 months. And it's also my niece's birthday in like a week, then my sisters, and then mine. I can't wait and I hope I will get the things I asked for.
1) A new camera
2) A DS game
3) Avril Lavigne's new CD
4) Avril's Black Star perfume
Ahhh...that sounds like a GOOD list. I want some new stuff for all the hard work I've been doing in school. And I'm getting the itch to dye my hair again. And get my hair & bangs trimmed. Ahhhhh...maybe I'll have beautiful hair to take pictures with my new camera.

Oh and the other day I let my dog outside and I was looking out the window and saw the cat that lives under our house start walking up the driveway. So I'm thinking "I really hope Shelby sees that cat so she can scare it off!" And she did. I've learned my dog hates cats. The cat was just walking around the driveway. Shelby saw it, her hair stood up, her tail straightened out, and she started barking. I think she was defending her territory.
Then later that day I told my mom what happened then thought what if the cat bit or scratched her and was carrying some kind of disease? Mom said we would have to kill it then. I was just thinking noooooo....I kind of want to keep it, but my dog would tear it to shreds.
