Awww, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I hardly EVER finish anything I do for myself and I get lazy then give up and start something else but end up not finishing it either. So, I take a lot of requests so that I can draw things I've never drwan before and widen my horizons! I have photoshop and not table too X_x bah...
Have no fear, we all go through that and just try to draw things in different styles or look at other stuff to reference. Thats what I do and it does help! If you need any more tips or just want to blab to me feel free :P
