Yeah, I told him I was interested in someone else..and that I wasn't interested in dating older men (He actually ASKED Me if I was...which should probably send up a red flag..) I can set it to block certain members...which I think that I might do. I told him very plainly that I'm not interested in dating anyone..and I think that I'll block him and end up just not responding to any of his messages.
I like myspace better, because you can choose not to give our your full name.. -___- thank God...or else I really WOULD be worried...
Well, now, although this guy seems attractive and you find it flattering, it is definitely for the best if you quit messaging him. For one, he's nearby- which is creepy. I don't want him to find you! *glomp*
If he's flirting, he's interested in you. Sure, it's nice to get a compliment on your hair or clothes from older men, but never accept flirting.
If you decide you'd like to keep a friendship with the guy, tell him to back off and that you're getting mixed messages. Say you'd like to be friends, but you're not interested in him.
If you don't feel comfortable knowing him at all, send him a message that you don't want to further anything with him (be polite about it) and make your site private. If he continues to contact you, take it to the higher-ups... system admins, police... is there a way you can block certain members? (I wouldn't know, I can't stand MySpace myself, so... yeah...)
Sadly, this is all the help I can offer... I've never been in this type of situation. So, best of luck!
